The times when I've been given **** for a more complex drink have been in lower-end establishments. However, the d-bag bartender is pretty consistent wherever I go with the exception of higher-end ($10-20/drink) places.

MLB every team has whites, grays and a couple alternate jerseys. There is no reason for teams to be wearing the same color jerseys. You think they could coordinate that. Tilts me!

You shouldn't be ordering complex drinks in a low end bar. Even when they're happy to do it with no attitude, they're unlikely to do a great job.

Listening to my dad make reservations for a hotel on the phone and interrupting the person on the other line then asking them to repeat themselves nearly every sentence they speak, for at least 10 solid minutes.

I left the room, and solved it which proves it shouldn't.

This. Stick to your basic drinks and you are good to go. Often places like this have quite good tap beer though as they have such high turnover, well as long as they are cleaning their lines on a regular basis.

Yeah, sure, but saying "you shouldn't order anything more complex than a GNT because the **** bartenders will screw it up" is a lot different than saying "don't order more complex drinks or you're an *******."

I haven't got any **** in real life. But I've seen innumerable complaints from bartenders on social media.

I have also seen the opposite, where you go to some fancy prohibition era style, artisanal in house bitters, boutique speakeasy, ask for a rum and coke and get answered with "we dont make that here".

It's understood as part of being in a dive. None of the regulars are drinking that ****, so the bartender dgaf how it's made. You'll also be setting yourself up for disappointment when they either don't have, or only have a very inferior version of, whatever you might be looking for.

ForeSee surveys the absolute woat. I'm sure I spent way more time finding a way to disable them than I would have simply clicking No Thanks every time for the rest of my life, but well worth it.

Another one: that half the teams in MLB seem to have a red/white uniform scheme. Can't tell who the **** is playing when I'm at a poker table and I'm watching game on the TVs overhead.
