How old is your daughter? You sound pretty idealistic, so I'm guessing toddler. If you expect her to be 100% open with you and your wife, then you'd better not "definitely disapprove" of anything.
Anyway, this was in Texas. Dude heard a noise, investigated it, saw someone in his daughter's room, blasted him, turned on the lights and she's like, "that's the dude I'm banging" and dad is like, "****, my ass is going to prison unless we come up with some bull**** story."
