I wish, but he's your standard pit-nutter. Like legitimately the dumbest people ever. I refuse to believe anybody with a stance like his could ever be a winning card player. Necessary skills like separating emotions from your decision making, avoiding result-oriented thinking, understanding sample-size and variance, etc. are the opposite of pit-nutter logic.

After seeing their responses to pitbull attacks, they're genuinely the shittiest group of people I can think of off the top of my head. This archer bum is a standard goof:

"YOUR 10 YEARS OF DOG ATTACK STATISTICS ARE STUPID I OWN 4 PITBULLS THEY R LITERALLY THE SWEETEST EVER CUZ ITS HOW YOU RAISE THEM U DUMB **** LOOK AT THIS PIC OF HIM WITH A BINKIE HES NEVER EVEN BIT NOBODY SO SHOVE THAT UP YOUR ASS NOBODY WILL TAKE MY PITBULLS FROM ME ILL LITERALLY KILL SOMEONE IF THEY TRY TAKING KILO, LUCIFER, KILLER OR MAULLY HOW ABOUT THAT!"

Man, I just logged into my FB for the first time in years and like 4 of my good friends have pits now. These are 100% not morons either. It's so frustrating how much pit propaganda is out there.

And again, pitbullinfo.org is legitimately the worst for pit propaganda. They have links to "studies" for each of their alleged "facts." They often do not even prove their claims, but obviously people aren't going to read the studies when they're just looking to fuel their cognitive dissonance.

Many of them are totally irrelevant anyway. Like whoa, 2 bullshit studies from pro-pit groups are saying, "You can't tell how aggressive a dog is by the breed." Yeah, and as expected, fatal/serious attacks are evenly distributed among all breeds... oh, wait.

It ranks high for tons of terms, too, and I'm sure it's converted lots of normal people to the, "See, they're like all dogs" camp. ****'s garbage.

Here are the 2 studies they use to prove make assumptions on aggression for breed, lol.

For ****'s sake, look at their bullshit fatal attacks numbers they've invented: pitbullinfo.org/breed-risk-rates.html

This is the study they reference that absolutely does not reflect what they claim it does: avma.org/sites/default/files/resources/javma_000915_fatalattacks.pdf

This **** should be illegal.

I don't know if it was just changed or if I just didn't notice it previously, but I love the title of this thread, and I vote 'No'.

This doesn't say what kind of dogs.

I haven't seen the breed listed but apparently back in early 2021 there was a litter of pit bull/lab mix puppies at the house where the dogs were on chains when they attacked this person. The dogs have been euthanized but judging by what has been presented here, the owner(s) probably should have been euthanized as well.

Lol, I very much doubt that. And I'm certainly not a pit bull apologist, just thought it was odd that an article was shared which doesn't mention the type of dogs.

When I was a kid, there weren't many pit bulls around, or at least not where I lived. There certainly were other dangerous dogs though. German Shepherds ran loose in my neighborhood and terrorized me. I still think they should not be allowed to be owned except as police dogs. I'm also not big on Dobermans, Rottweilers, or any dog that closely resembles a wolf.

Those shepards "terrorizing" you were just herding. Lol. And dobermans/rottweilers are drovers. Guard dogs. Pitbulls are fighting dogs. They're not tenable in civilized society...

Well, a dog running loose in the neighborhood trying to herd groups of children, including biting them, is not something that should be tolerated anymore than the pit bulls.

“ We let the dog out to use the bathroom, and she must’ve hit the lock,” Evans told WABC. “All I hope is we get the dog back and we are all going to take better precautions, like put a padlock on the gate now, and other things that will keep her inside.”

Glad the owner is so remorseful. 2nd time the dog attacked someone. Terrible that the owner still wants the dog, obviously should be euthanized

Police issued two summonses to the dog’s owner, identified as Jason Evans.

“We let the dog out to use the bathroom, and she must’ve hit the lock,” Evans told WABC. “All I hope is we get the dog back and we are all going to take better precautions, like put a padlock on the gate now, and other things that will keep her inside.”

Trash pit owner just wants the dog back. They'll do better next time, promise.

No mention of the victims.

Of course big dogs shouldn't be running loose but just by the nature of their attacks pit bulls are way more dangerous than the breeds you mentioned. I don't condone having big dogs off leash (where it's not permitted). I actually find it quite annoying, but that being said Dobermans are so trainable that even off-leash they can maintain discipline even when around rowdy dogs and potential prey. If a pit bull sees prey, good luck!

Yeah, it really is amazing. Visited some friends with their new rescue pit (well like 'early pandemic' new) and they're obviously scared of their dog and walking on eggshells in their own home. Like why do you choose to live like this?

Cognitive dissonance. If I acknowledge that my dog is inherently dangerous, I have to admit that I've been irresponsible. I have to consider how much danger I've been putting my kids and family in. Nah, it's all in how you raise them!

Neva is a cook at Parkview Manor in Midway. She has three dogs of her own, including a pitbull, and says right before the animals pounced she was thinking how beautiful they were.
Well at least now she knows w/o either of them losing their lives.

LoL @ this spin: "Police deployed their conductive energy weapon in order to control the dog"

What that actually means: Police used a taser to kill the dog.
