yes, a surveillance camera dome. just like they have in the casino. logic being that would be thieves will see them and usually realize that doing a crime on film has a higher probability of leading to capture.

a well lit area with a dome near by is preferred (buy an eye mask to block out light).

hey.. gonna give you some advice coming from someone that did exactly what you did.

8 years ago I decided to do exactly what you did. I was still in school, on pace for medical school and when I graduated, I opted for poker, with very little money(but a supportive and semi-wealthy family).

I was privileged, as are you. I will tell you that exploiting someone underprivileged, even if rightfully so, is something you will regret. If you don't, you're probably just an a-hole. It's easy to hold those less privileged to you to some contractual standard to abide by, but don't, you don't know what it's like to struggle.

In regards to poker, I got in a bit early and very fortunately was able to make millions. Many of those entering at the same time are broke with no work experience and very bad spending habits. Despite where I ended up, statistically, if I had to go back, no way would I enter poker. Now? No way would I enter. The games are way harder. Back then, I made 200k/yr at $2/$4. If I entered now, I'd be fortunate to make $20k full time, but likely a losing player.

This is coming from someone that made it at poker. Use your parent's success and support and find something stable.

That's why I didn't say camera. Pretty easy to understand the logic if you've been out of the house within the last 10 years. The fact you were able to Google a picture of a camera contained within a dome before an explanation was given indicates you're smarter than you give yourself credit for.

OP, buy a sleeping bag,. It ain't gonna be in the 40's very often, so you don't need a good bag. Take a tooth brush and some bottled water and brush your teeth in a handicap toilet stall so no one sees you.

About the immigrant, standard. You play hardball with her. I'd personaly not want to sleep on the couch b/c it is very likely that the men who slept on it have jizzed in between the cushions. If the couch has three cushions, usually there is a space that lines up perfectly for this. So take the room for $200-$150 a month.

The couch is in a public area, so it's presumably jizz free. I think it's likely that I will be the first person that has actually slept on the couch as a tenant.

I think it will be in the 40's pretty often. Looking up the weather for the area, it's 40 right now. But yeah, sleeping bags negate that anyway.

If I do the car thing, I'm going to try to stay at a 24 hour fitness or Walmart parking lot. Walmart is probably safer since other people do it as well

I've worked in casinos for 20+ years (and read/posted on this site almost that long) and I had know idea what you guys were talking about when you kept saying "park under a dome". I've never once heard a player suggest we should "check the dome".
