Yeah, this one hit me hard. One of the GOAT groups. My favorite local bar had the Midnight Marauders vinyl blasting last night. I love where I live. RIP Phife Diggy.

Been out of the game for a while and just starting to get back into it. Listened to some of the most hyped albums from the last few years. Big fan of Forest Hills Drive. The last two Kendrick albums(TPAB and untitled) were pretty underwhelming(bring the hate). MMLP2 was pretty good, vintage Em. Haven't given them much play yet but first impressions on TLOP and B4.DA.$$ is that they're both pretty good. Also listened to some other stuff like Action Bronson, Flatbush Zombies, Vince Staples, and Mac Miller, most of which I though was pretty meh.

I've listened to the original tidal version of TLOP probably 25-30 times. I'm just working my way through the new Apple Music version, and it's crazy how fast I pick up on the slightest changes. He really did a lot of tinkering.

Don't like the added line on ULB. Sounded so jarring to me when it happened. Like it had been cut/pasted in or something

He changed something at the beat drop into the sister nancy sample on Famous, and I'm not sure it has the same effect as it previously did.

I like the additions on Freestyle 4.

New Wolves is amazing. I like the changes to the beat. Very jarring but in a good way. I never saw the original SNL performance, but I love the Sia and Vic Mensa additions to the song.
