Was just at dim sum place in Chinatown. Next table over guy tries to order pho, and when they didn't have that he went for his other go to Asian food--udon soup. When they didn't have that either, he needed some time with the menu. Left before I got to find out what he ordered. Probably tried pad thai next.

Sad to hear of WVU's passing. Life is fleeting.

This reminds me of my father attempting to order both wine and Onion Rings in an Arby's that carried neither. Such a weird set of assumptions to make about fast food.

What type of wine you you pair with onion rings?

The answer to that question, like the answer to all questions, is Lambrusco.

Pretty sure that is the Oregon state motto.

These are all good answers, but the truth is that the wine that gets sold at Arby's is probably beyond imagining.

Lambrusco conjures up memories of weekend-long Risk sessions at my house growing up.

Mogen David is the best wine though

Blue Nun and Cold Duck stand out as well.

Pink Champale, final answer.

The only two that I thought of were Boone's Farm and Annie Green Springs, which I paired with the Arby's fine dining experience many, many times.

I think you just triggered my recall of some suppressed memories. I can't figure out if this is good or bad.

Goodie is tearing it up itt. Needs a Goodie alert icon imo

Goodie is a straight-up boss and has been toiling in relative obscurity here for like 12 years. Unreal.

I got excited for a second when I first read dids post, because I thought maybe arbys was now serving wine and onion rings

They sell onion rings but you have to supply your own wine.
