winding earphone cables. make the devil sign then wrap the cord using a figure of 8 pattern, then when you pull the phones out to connect to your ipod they will not be tangled.

Is Skullcandy any good? I just assumed they were terrible since they're prominent in Best Buy.

I always heard they're prominently upmarket. maybe I'm wrong, you never see them anywhere in Europe and people keep saying they're really good, so I kinda just assumed.

Life trick: Don't visit wimp.com unless you have some serious time to kill.

In other news, I'm altering the way I've ironed shirts for 40 years.

The trick someone gave about getting back that 800 word reply you just back-arrowed out of by accident on 2+2 is incredible.

"Forward arrow, click in message box, cntrl-z" has already saved me at least a half dozen replies I would have lost. Better luck next time 2+2!

I used to have a mouse with a back button that was easy to accidentally hit. So heartbreaking until I discovered this trick.

+1. not having the shirt flopping all over or dragging to the floor or whatever else shirts somehow figure out a way to do is amazing.

meh, i have a hard time calling in-canal ear buds with in-line mic and volume control for $35 ($40 at best buy i think?) "horrible overpriced crap." pretty sure the apple version of the same thing costs twice as much, and definitely are worse quality (apple headphones routinely break in some way within a month of use?). can't really think of any competitor selling the same product (regardless of quality) for significantly less than what i paid for skull candy.

not to derail the topic, but after using skullcandy for a couple of months, I bought these cheap JVC earbuds for like 10 bucks to use while working out, and have switched to use them permanently.

I have a pair of skullcandys, the kind that go inside your ear, and I hate them. Link to the JVCs?

anyone else with this problem: start >control panel >mouse and you can turn these extra buttons off, as well as other stuff like how sensitive the scroll wheel is.

I had some Sennheiser (sp?) wrap-around earbuds that worked really well. They sounded good and always were pretty good about staying in when working out.

Life Trick: Don't lose them.

If you have a pair of jeans that fits but you're getting tired of wearing, get a drugstore pumice stone or a piece of sandpaper. Brush up the denim with it and you can give it a vintage look.

Not in as pinch you lolcat mofo.

Making burgers tonight, I realized I was sitting on a trick. I like to think I created this: The Cheese Fold

The benefits are two-fold: Almost like a double cheese. No cheese-melt-over-the-side mess.

The trick is having enough shirts that you can always have a weeks worth at the dry cleaners.

yep.
I used to do them backwards, starting with the body and finishing with the collar.

I do miss the 'light starch hangers' option but I live a tad rural now and there is no dry cleaner within 40 miles.
