She got 1/7th of the payout while she had the second biggest stack, that's pretty much all you need to know. The only other thing which might be relevant are the relative skills, if MLY thinks she was a decent bit worse than the rest of the remaining field the chop might still be good.

Lol I am going to take this as a compliment �� I agree that if Mlylt thought she wasn't as good as the rest of the field it wasn't a bad chop but she stated the chip leader was crap and that would have been enough for me to either insist on more or fight it out.

It's not a great deal but it's not horrible. Guaranteed 2nd place winnings w 7 people left. Sure she's 2nd in chips, but we know how final tables can go. She locked up a big payout. Plus negotiating deals is a skill that improves w experience.

There were 2 players at the table that had a good read on me and could out play me and that I would have been worried about. One had about 80% of my stack and the other 60%. I could beat the other 4 no problem.

MLY - I think it's funny how you simultaneously say no one pays attention in these games but players also have you "figured out."

Pro tip - in live games only donks worry about "table image" unless you're playing 10/20 or are like 3000 BB's deep, just stfu and play your hands. straight A/B/C. I always just fiddle around on my phone and am generally disinterested so people like you don't over read whatever it is I'm doing. I usually am just bored out of my mind.

Haven't played a live game in quite a while. Maybe I'll make a trip down to commerce one of these days and then immediately regret it.

You are confused as usual. I'm referring to the tournament when I'm talking about the players having a read on me. I said no one pays attention in the live 1/2 or 1/3 games, but it's different in tournaments. Yeah in cash I just sit back and wait on a hand and it's boaring as ****. The first half of tournaments is boaring as well, and against a lot of players you can just wait on a hand. I generally try to set up an image in the beginning depending on how the other players are playing. In a tournament I sit down and observe and then get a game plan together of what my image will be for that table, who will pick up on that image and how I'm going to take advantage of each player, I evaluate how the players are perceiving me and make adjustments and when they break the tables, I do it again. I observe the players and find out who will be calculating pot and implied odds so I know who I can try to represent hands against when I'm bluffing. I always have a game plan of how I will take down a hand if I don't hit. I play different ranges against different players; I might go into a hand knowing Im at 30% to win, but I know how to take advantage of the player and feel confident I'll win. I don't check fold too many hands because I don't get into a lot of hand Im not certain I will win. This could be a leak, I bluff A LOT and I occasionally get caught when I wasn't setting up to get caught and get into trouble lol
