Edit:just read the amazin update. Garcia is right when he says he wishes reading the hapless guy's anecdotes wasn't out of schadenfreude. disagree, I think he should have stuck with the clubbing idea. I'd go the chill route with a random, but he knows this girl and she's on vacation (i.e. wants to have fun presumably). amazin, you need to go out, get some drinks, have fun and initiate physical contact on the dance floor so that by the time you get back home she's not overthinking things and is already in a more receptive mood.
