I seem to remember her flipping good, and him just hitting her.
I texted a couple of friends I went with, and they all said he didn't kill her. So I'm just unsure at this point.

After reading about the black mask, he would be a pretty awesome character to bring about.
"Black Mask tortured Catwoman's brother-in-law brutally in front of her sister, and then made the woman eat pieces of her husband's corpse." From wiki.

Saw it for the second time, this time imax, loved it just as much.

Seriously who is the chick going to be for the next movie? Producer said no catwoman despite semiforshadowing from Fox saying the suit will do fine against cats. They didnt introduce Harley Quinn. Poison Ivy would be so boring imo. I still think Bane and Black Mask would be awesome as bad guys in Nolans style.

This is another question I have. I remember Gordon telling Batman that Dent killed 5 people, although that may be just a stupid number my ******ed memory threw out. I only remember him killing the old white cop in the bar. He certainly tries to kill others, but I don't recall him succeeding. Did the others happen off screen or something?

I guess another possibility is that Gordon said he killed two people, and he just assumed that the chick cop was killed since he knew Dent got to her.

Edited to add: Forgot about Eric Roberts's driver, and presumably Roberts as well. I think they did say 5 people. Not sure who the others were.

Brilliant!!!!

...but only if he keeps the cowboy get-up, rides a horse, and checks his blood sugar often.
In fact, the only thing that ties him with the Penguin of DC comics is the fact that they share the same name. He'd be completely oblivious to the story, batman, and anything else occurring.

Hmmph..whummp...*cough*..."I'm the Penguin"

At the film's climax, he becomes a threat to pedestrians when he passes out on his horse and it takes off running down a crowded street.

I'm also hoping they cast James Garner as Batman, and Angela Lansbury as Catwoman.

I guess Nicholson can still play the Joker.

Oh one other thing I forgot to bring up: am I crazy, or did the Joker give two different stories for how he got his scars? He told the gangster guy that his father did it and he told Maggie that he did it himself, right? No one I was with seemed to catch this, so I'm beginning to question myself.

Yeah that seems plausible, I'm almost positive that Gordon said he killed two officers but maybe he just assumed the Mexican chick was dead cause Dent got to her...

The only people you see killed are old officer at the bar and the driver right? Robert's wasn't killed by Dent (maybe the crash killed him but he did flip good).

Yeah he told two different ones. i think the alternate stories just solidified his character as its own right as an agent of chaos as opposed to his madness being a product of some sort of family situation.

I have no idea who the villain will be in the 3rd movie, but they should leave Joker and Two Face alone. They both represent the pure insanity part of Batman's villains and that worked beautifully in this film. Their stories are over for me.

Honestly, I'd like to see Superman in the next Batman film. The first confrontation between these two heroes is supposed to be epic. They ran out of the best villains (Joker Ra's Two Face are the three best). Don't wanna see Bane, Freeze, or Catwoman. But Superman can cement Batman's legacy in a way no villain could.

I don't think a third movie with the main principles is as likely or probable as others seem to think. Hope I'm wrong though.

Superman can't exist in Nolan's Gotham. I hope you see why.

I think a well done Catwoman and Batman love/hate story could be really really good.

lol no way DDL would ever agree to this. hes never been in any blockbuster type movie and probably never wants to be.

i want to see Niles from Fraiser as the Riddler in the third movie because I think, like Ledger, he doesn't seem like an obvious pick, but he could do an amazing job. ( I think this would be unlikely tho)

Who would be a good catwoman? Jenifer Garner?

Yea, I wasn't commenting on the quality of the third one, just the chances of Nolan in particular coming back. IIRC he and Bale only signed on for two, and I could see Nolan wanting to walk away after the success and acclaim of TDK, along with the whole Ledger stuff which may throw a monkey wrench into the whole thing.

With that said, I'm sure they will throw insane amounts of money at him, and he might not be able to turn that down. But of the few directors who would be able to turn it down he seems like the type.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if there was a third one, and hope there is. I just don't think its as close to a given as some think.

I would hope so, considering it was a big part of the movie and was hard to miss.

agree glad she's dead

movie had its leaks but was the best yet for a long time. Bale was a little weak in his performance.

ledger was awesome. black guy throwing out the detonator was awesome.

"The only morality in a cruel world is chance."

had to be the best line

also I love Zooey Des. Probably wouldn't see a movie with Jennifer Garner. I feel the same about Eva Mendez but will make some exceptions there
