A whole lot of jizzing and cumming in this thread. Spandex would do that to ya.

Probably the biggest problem I had with the entire movie was that "Bat-Bike" thing. My first reaction when I saw it was, "Batman doesn't use guns". He doesn't. That's part of the character. Secondly not only it sounds like some freaking pod racer from Phantom Menace and acts like one too. Not needed in this series. The Tumbler was fine and pretty sweet but this just doesn't fly with me. I'm sure it was invented for marketing and toy manufacturing purposes. Ugh.

Also announced today, Ledger getting a Golden Globe nod for Best Actor.

it kind of annoys me that he most definitely kills the driver of the dump truck by ramming his car into it and crushing the cab of the dump truck into the ceiling, but he then won't run over the joker with the bike. i mean he either kills or he doesn't, what makes one any different than the other?

Good observation. I didn't even think that batman's crashing into the truck head-on may have resulted in the killing of the driver.

I think more people would have been killed by Batman spraying bullets in the mall.

anyone else think that whole scene in japan was a little unnecessary. It seemed incredibly random to me. I mean honestly batman in hong kong??

I hate most all superhero movies, but I thought this flick was excellent. And I laugh when people say Batman wouldn't do that or he wouldn't ride a motorcycle or whatever. It's a ****ing movie. Batman does whatever the writer says he does. Period.

Saw it on DVD so that may have influenced me. A good movie, imho, but just not great.

The whole cell phone thing seemed forced. It took away from the movie.

Also, I just don't buy it that Dent becomes evil so quickly.

The Chinese story line didn't seem necessary either. Felt like it was just a method to make it seem like an international film.

Where was Gotham? It seemed like a normal city. I liked how it has a comic-book feel to it before.

Ledger was frightening and good. I kept waiting for him to carve up someone's mouth.

8/10

Agree. This is the only part that bugged me. It just seemed thrown in there in the middle of everything and didnt fit.

After seeing this for the 2nd time on DVD the only part I hated was where batman takes down all the Swat team members using the cellphone sonar deal. Rewatching that was hard to sit thru, I couldnt really follow it and it seemed there was no way a human could pull off what he did there. Its a stain on a very good movie imo.

Watching it again it was less bad but the Two Face character still ruins everything. It couldn't be more poorly developed.

On NYE I got to perform the interrogation scene as Joker in front of 40 people.

Then I hooked up with a girl 7 years younger than me.

There's definitely a wall that "superhero" movies cannot climb. Can only really be so good and then the genre trappings pull it down. I would be legit shocked if there was ever one in the future that I thought was up there with the actual best movies of all time. I really don't think this is possible.

I'm not a tech guru, but is this basically the technology used in The Dark Knight, where Batman can spy on the entire city?

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...camera-spying/

If this is true, this is some scary ****, right? And who designed this great technology? Our wonderful government/military, of course.

Cliffs: Hackers can use your phone to record you, track you, and spycam/map out anywhere you go. Collectively, this means the Batman spy-screen is a reality.
