I just used one of my vouchers to knock £5 off the regular £10 price of an assortment of vegetable samosas, lamb samosas, and duck spring rolls. More hotels definitely need to do this.

same, people have learned not to ask me a question they dont want to hear an honest answer to. So I get way less of those stupid questions asked to me, and people know when I answer it I actually mean what im saying.

re: hover bike

I dont get the point of it if you cant ride it, just looks like an expensive toy that would get boring after a while, and if you can ride it, its just going to be dangerous and prolly made illegal except in remote areas and stuff.

it's situational but I usually sugarcoat it if I can in an honest way.

something like "you're maybe a few pounds over what you usually are, but at least it makes your ass/tits look great"

and then sometimes i'll grab belly fat and tease them about it. every chick's different and some take it worse/better than others. the ones that can take some teasing about body image are the ones you want to stick with.

If youve got time to kill on a long article, I found this riveting

I read that just yesterday, incredible story.
08-26-2014 , 05:20 PM
Wow, really cool article. I had heard when they first caught him but didn't know he ever allowed anyone to interview him.
08-26-2014 , 05:23 PM
My gf linked me that article a few days back (hipster) ! I felt torn between two sides as to what to do with the guy.

Seems as I've got myself a tenant, she got back to me a few hours ago that she was looking forward to living there!

Obviously can't let him keep breaking into people's homes but forcing him back into society doesn't seem right.

Yeah, that was my main problem as well. The problem is that in a way you're not allowed to step out of society. Expecting him to supply himself with 'nature's food' is very optimistic/not realistic as well so what options do you really have ?

Nah, not everyone will use it, so it's more likely something in the middle. Probably about £3.50.

Good story. He should be free. Someone could put food out for him. Maybe in exchange for the proceeds from a book he could scribble out about his time in the woods.
08-27-2014 , 12:29 AM
Am I the only one that read that and immediately thought of Burgundy?
08-27-2014 , 12:32 AM
I wonder how much more of a financial burden to society he is when he's free and stealing opposed to in jail, getting shelter, heat, electricity, running water, plumbing and the like.

Obviously his impact is far greater to the people he steals from than their tax cost but still, couldn't they set him "free" and give him three packs of ramen a day and a new outfit once a year?
08-27-2014 , 12:39 AM
He's living with his mom, I think it said. He got a light jail term that was basically time served.

I think a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift is a great idea. While you're at it, I think it would also be a nice touch if you scattered rose petals on the bed.

re: hover bikes

If it's not a hover board I'm not interested. However, I would accept a hover bike under the condition that a guy in a convertible chases me around the city plaza while there is a dump truck full of manure nearby.

Yeah, they are basically forcing him to live in the world though. He has to report and go to school or get a job.

Seems like there should be a way for him to live in a tent and have someone scatter some hotpockets in the area once in a while.

@Chase
Dont worry, there will be more to come. I'm renting the studio out furnished but I've offered her to get some stuff she wants on my coin as its still empty as of now. There is a pretty solid chance we'll be out and about for a day hopping through IKEA's and electronic stores to buy the contents of the place. Enough awkward potential there.

yak, any chance you can wear a gopro or something? Maybe the footage can be used to pitch a sitcom!
08-27-2014 , 12:45 PM
Whoa, feel so vindicated now about Sopranos finale.

08-27-2014 , 12:46 PM
Yak,
Will you be kept on a short leash or will she be allowing you to roam through the maze that is IKEA?
