Got the trio of crunchwrap sliders last week. Overall pretty good, but main complaint is that there was too much tortilla and not enough filling. With each one, I was left with 2 or 3 bites of doughy, bland, chewy tortilla with no filling at all.

BLT one is garbage, but I'm not a big fan of tomatoes. Still, a tortilla with just a bunch of bacon and mayonaiise with way too much lettuce and tomatoes is pretty crap.
BLT: D (I mean, it still has bacon)
Chicken: B+
Beef: A-

Chicken and beef would be graded higher with a better tortilla to filling ratio. BLT is hopeless.

Went with fries over cheese curds because I just deep fried a batch of curds at home last night and didn't feel like more today. Impressions:

-Food came to my table < 2 minutes from ordering, was hot and fresh.
-Burger was excellent. I would say the meat and cheese were directly comparable to 5 Guys-level quality in taste. Good quantity of mayo (by good I mean low to moderate, perfect proportion to rest of burger). Lettuce was crisp. I could clearly taste the red onions and it was a good thing.
-Fries were also excellent. Very crispy exterior, not overly greasy, well-salted.
-Soda was perfect. Perfectly mixed and perfectly bubbly. Imperfect soda is the #1 thing that ruins fast food for me but it wasn't a problem here.

Overall A+
Isn't soda composition a location specific thing and not uniformed by chain?

soft taco supreme has to be a bad item, value-wise. Did they charge for the sour cream?

I doubt any mainstream fast food place is going to offer anything that spicy (1 million scovilles) - you'd need to sign a waiver.

In the Sacramento area, Rubio's original fish tacos are $1.50 each Tuesdays after 3.

Pretty sure they are just using the name for promotion purposes. 0 chance there is any ghost pepper in the sauce

Mucho Burrito offers ghost pepper products a few times per year in Canada.

Quote:
The Ghost Pepper Burrito's two heat levels, Hotter than Hell and Wimpy, will put diners' taste buds to the test. The burritos are made with a combination of mouth-watering ghost pepper bacon, ghost pepper infused fig marmalade (sweet heat), spicy Mexican rice, salsa and a choice of meat, all wrapped in a fiery red tortilla. The Hotter than Hell Ghost Pepper Burrito will also be topped with an extra splash of Mucho Burrito's hottest salsa and pure Ghost Pepper sauce.
They also have a ghost pepper burrito eating contest

This is the sauce they use

My local Wingstop will not allow you to order more than 5 atomic wings without tasting the sauce first or stating you had them before.

I admit they're pretty spicy, esp after two or three of them.

I like my spicy foods to have taste, not just heat. Heat for the sake of heat is ridiculous. If you can make a delicious super spicy sauce then awesome, if I'm just adding something to burn my mouth, what's the point?

I love the meximelt. They're just too small though and too expensive.

But you're right though. You can spend $10 at Taco Bell and not be full.

Sure, but you can also spend $4 on the dollar menu and be absolutely stuffed.

Had the crunchwrap sliders for the first time last night. 3 of them filled me up. They weren't on the drive thru menu (at least I couldn't find them, the menu has gotten ridiculously big and they give me no time to look around when they immediately ask "can I help you?). But I just went for it and got 3 of them for $3.18.

Agree that more filling would be nice, and there's too much dry tortilla at the end...but it's a buck each. BLT was my least favorite.

Yea if you spend $10 at Taco Bell and you're not full you're doing it wrong and should be sent immediately to jail. Do not pass GO do not collect 200 dollars.

Odds on employees messing with your food if you tell them you need a second to look at the menu when you pull up to the drive thru?

Meximelts used to be my favorite TB item, but now I've even soured on them. I'll only go to TB anymore if there are absolutely no other options. I still keep meaning to try their breakfast just to say I have.

Seriously...

I feed my family for about $12... (And that's with my wife not ordering off the dollar menu)
