the shredded chicken burrito is probably my favorite TB item these days. The shredded chicken is sooooo much better than that old gristly chicken they used to have. The jalapeno cream sauce (or whatever the **** its called) really makes it.

I'm pretty sure the TB closest to me has just fallen off a cliff. I've tried most of the items you've mentioned there and been consistently disappointed. Nachos supreme, or whatever they're called, were OK. One thing I remember liking there years ago was the mexican pizza, but wow was it bad when I got it a few months ago. Like it was put together as if the person cared not for presentation or flavor, filled it with dog food and just frisbeed it into the box. It was literally broken in half with probably 80% of the meat in one half of it.

I've never really noticed who is working in the kitchen, as I always drive through and haven't paid attention. Seems like the person I interact with and pay at the window is almost always an overweight, early-20s girl. That mexican pizza I got, I seriously would not be surprised if the person making it was some 18 year old guy who actually screamed out, "**** this guy!" and slammed the thing into the box with unbridled passion. It was so crappily made I'm amazed there wasn't literally crap in there.

If you go to TB and order anything other than crunchy taco, soft taco, double Decker taco, steak soft taco, or caramel apple empanada(no way that's spelled right) you're over complicating things and deserve the occasional disappointment. It's fast food. Keep it simple.

That said, I love lurking ITT and seeing what FF people like/dislike. Gives me a lot of ideas for when I get off this damn diet. Haven't had FF in 5 months and I'm getting rather cranky.

I love Pollo Tropical. I get the tropichop. The curry mustard sauce is a must! I actually prefer Chicken Kitchen though, if you can get to one of those.

Mine are mostly interchangeable.

1. Hardees bacon/egg/cheese biscuit and steak and gravy biscuit
2. Bojangles cajun chicken biscuit
3. Chickfila chicken biscuit and spicy chicken biscuit
4. Mcdonald's sausage/egg/cheese Biscuit/Mcgriddle/McMuffin.

Agree. Doesn't taste like anything and way too expensive for how much food you actually get.

i completely agree, and think i have said so several times itt. The gordita shell is just so starchy and nasty that it ruins everything. Chalupa shell is elite when made correctly.

Agree with the Cheesy Gordita Crunch being highly overpriced. What is it like $2.50?

The box they had for $5 a while back was the best bargain ever. A CGC, burrito supreme, regular taco and a medium drink.

CGC @ $2.50 = highly overpriced

Box = CGC + BS + RT + MD = $2.50 + $1.49(?) + $0.89 + $1.59 = $5.86

Seems like you are basically getting a free regular taco, that makes it best bargain ever?

FWIW I love the CGC because it still has the Baja sauce they used to put on the Baja Gorditas/Chalupas, may they rest in piece. Not a great value but one of my favorites on the menu.
