At my local Wendy's or Burger King, it would give the employee something to do.

If anyone ever wants to be severely disappointed just go to Burger King and order the chicken strips or original chicken sandwich.

Nasty

Top 5 for sure. Great on almost anything, but I love it on pizza.

Burger King has amazed me how they have spiraled down in quality in the last 10 years or so, but even the original chicken sandwich sucks now? Haven't had one for years but I remember them being good.

+1 to all of this generally, though I did stop by a BK this week though and got a double cheeseburger extra pickles - it was really pretty good for $1.59. I'm hoping they're coming back!

</3 McDonalds

Go to DT just after midnight, see that the breakfast hours at 12am-12pm, SCORE

"Can I please get a Sausage McGriddle and..."
"I'm sorry, we can't serve the McGriddles until 4am. [something about a folded egg]"

Go die

Seriously.

What's the point of extending breakfast hours if you don't offer the best item?

It is pretty good. What I liked best is the bun had a nice buttery flavor to it, which worked really well with the fish. Price sux, if you want to add a slice of cheese it's $4.00 plus tax. And the patty didn't seem any larger than the FoF, even though they're clearly trying to imply it in the Wendy's ad where redhead is chowing on it while poor, emasculated coworker sits next to her with his wimpy ass fish sammich.

Same. As a kid I remember them being awesome but I wasn't allowed to order it most of the times -- it was like $3+ even in the early-mid 90's right?

Burger king was my staple in college though because it had a student discount at the campus. Under $5 for a triple stacker + onion rings + drink

Wtf the folded egg was the reason? Just make the McGriddle with the round egg, it's better anyway. They should have all the other ingredients right? Agreed that is horribly stupid.

My McDonalds won't make muffins before 4 am.

I haven't been to Burger King since 09, but I've got a coupon for a $2 Big King I'm gonna use within the week.

You should be asking for round egg at McD's anyway. It's actually real egg, as opposed to the folded yellow formula. http://www.seriouseats.com/2013/03/w...-just-ask.html

Your citation would be much stronger if it had come from a business class professor.

Ya, economics is just making **** up while "business" is a rigorous scientific field...

Ya, that is definitely a crummy cite.

nuts,

I kinda want to do a taste test now - I feel like that yellow egg mix thing is a key part of those sandwiches. Plenty of delis where I can get a real egg sandwich. I feel like if you're getting eggs at McD's maybe you should stick with their scientifically engineered optimal egg product?

Went to KFC/Taco bell yesterday and it seems Canada might finally be doing some innovating. A few new interesting offers from KFC..

Triple decker sandwich and a KFC big mac?! I was there for the Taco Bell (tried the grillers, lame), but will have to try these new KFC sandwiches next time.

Kinda disappointed I was hoping to see some ridiculous combo box that had items from both KFC and tacobell included.

The whole menu was absurd. It was like the took half of the breakfast menu and half of the normal menu and made some hybrid crap menu.

No mcgriddle, no biscuits, no mcdoubles

it was weird

edit

It was basically that except the "also available" section was half the size. No Mcdouble/double cheese/20 pc nugget/mchicken/grilled onion chedder/etc..
