Don't eat a ton of fast food anymore, and when I do, it's usually In-N-Out.

Had Burgerville for the first time last week, above-average, I would say.

I used to lovelovelove JITB when I was younger, but just don't like it at all these days.

Best breakfast item is McD's Sausage Biscuit w/ Egg imo

I'm sure if this is common it is also pretty well known but since I figured it out myself, maybe someone else doesn't know either:

The #1 value meal during breakfast at my local McD's is the Egg McMuffin and is $5.29.
The #2 value meal is a sausage McMuffin meal and is $4.29.

#2 is better and a dollar cheaper. If you don't want sausage, sub bacon for free.

Maybe my McDs is just weird?

Burger King breakfast is massively underrated. The croissant sandwiches are very tasty and tater tots > the block of potato at McDonalds. Sonic breakfast also getting slept on itt.

I wonder how much of the BK hate is due to poor execution. When done right, I probably like BK's tots/hash brown minis better than McDonald's hash browns, but the local BK gets it right about 2 times out of 10 while McD's is at least 5 or 6 out of 10. And when it's not done right it is vile.

Nothing wrong with the crossanwiches, but personally I think the McGriddles, biscuits and McMuffins are each better, though the McMuffins are close.

Also, BK's biscuits (do they even still have them? I haven't been there in months) suck.

BK breakfast has potential to be great, the execution has huge variance though. The hash browns are clearly better than McD. McD has almost no variance even from store to store, that's their advantage. I actually like the Jack in the Box version of the croissantwich a lot. Drop me in a random city and I'm going with McD biscuit sandwich because I know exactly what I'm getting.

Fish move to eat breakfast if you're like not an old guy imo. Sleep later and be in a such a rush that you have no time for breakfast. Then you have more room for glorious lunch.
