Don't forget to check all your local CFA facebook pages. And sports team deals.

e.g. Southern California CFA's have free sandwich deals with LAFC soccer, Angels, Clippers, Ducks. You need to grab these before 10:30am the next day when activated.

Also mine post deals on the entry doorway. e.g. mobile order on a Saturday, get a free sandwich in the app or free cookies for any order on Monday.

Also after a visit, free sandwich survey's get requested under the news tab in the app, I think you have a 1 in 6 chance for these.

Had the KFC gravy sandwich and while it had incredible potential, it turned out to be one of the worst items I've ever ordered and it was built incorrectly and they denied and said it was right. I had assumed the patty was a big crunch style breast and instead it was one of their famous chicken "strips", only it had been fried at least 8 times and was sitting in a circular bun.. strange. Then they put the mayo into the hashbrown meant for the gravy instead of on the bottom bun. I brought it up to the counter to ask about the chicken and bun and was told this is correct as "most customers don't put the gravy on the sandwich and want it this way". I pointed to the 6 foot tall picture standing right beside us and they shrugged.

Oh and the cheese was 0% melted. 1/10 and I may not return to this KFC/Tacobell for at least a year because of this. Plus they were out of fire sauce and all KFC dipping sauces for my popcorn chicken.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my week has been ruined.

Wendy's Italian mozzarella cheeseburger was not terrible, but not something I'll probably order again though. Might be better in the chicken sandwich version.

mayo on that gravy sandwich seems terrible but that's a canadian thing (I think?). the gravy on the side & dipping seems best

KFC has been Subway tier for a very long time now. If only their prices were in line with that.


I just heard about the Popeyes blackened chicken sandwich also. Would normally pass on grilled chicken but will definitely make my quarterly visit while that is being offered.

$3 Whopper Wednesday doesn't even really sound like a deal. Certainly not a Whopper of a deal.

i was short on time and options, so against my better judgement i drove thru KFC at lunch today. spicy chicken sandwich for $4.99 was all i ordered.



as much as i hate to say it, it was pretty damn good. chicken was hot and fresh, a lot more spice in the sauce than i was expecting (actually had me sniffing a bit in the end) and the bun and pickle were spot on.

now don't go thinking i'm trying to say it's better than popeyes, but i would totally get it again at that price if i could guarantee the same quality. we all know that won't be the case.

Dominos has an online offer for 50% off all pizzas through Sunday (the 20th). No clue if this is something they offer regularly but it seems like a good thing in these inflationary times.

Seems to come around a couple times a year, now that the 3 topping carry out deal is dead this is one of the better deals in chain pizza. I see a <$10 extravaganzza in my future this week.

BOGO double cheeseburgers are the last bastion of value in this FF hellscape. Bless you, Rick.
