Rarely a victim of advertising, Chipotle got me with their Plant-based Chorizo ads during the National Championship game last night.

I tried it out and I think it's at least worth checking out. Pretty smart move by Chipotle to do this with chorizo, which is generally more defined by the flavor of the spices than the quality of the meat. It definitely has a little kick to it (I could really tell after finishing my bowl), but as someone that can tolerate heat, it didn't seem overly hot.

The chorizo bowl was $8.60 + tax which is like 35 cents less than the steak bowl but more expensive than the Veggie bowls (I heard $1 more, which sounds right). Seems like a fair price to me.

Taking a glance at the nutrition, it doesn't appear on the surface to be any healthier than their other meats, plus it's much saltier. That's very unfortunate, IMO.

99% of the content I watch is completely ad free. It's impossible for me to be a mark for advertising if I don't watch ads.

Even football I rarely watch live. I only watched this one live because it was 2 SEC teams in the National Championship.

Key Play feature is great because it guarantees you watch zero ads. I'm sure they'll fix that in the future.

You saw one ad and bit big, plus it was plant based nutritionally devoid trash. Confirmed ad mark.

What is your point and what does this have to do with the thread? Nothing I stated was false. Please expound on what you are trying to say.

What was the point of the statement other than to attack me? I simply stated that I am rarely a victim of advertising, which is true because I rarely watch ads. I am then called an "ad mark" whatever that is. I don't understand the purpose of the statement.

welcome to the club. my suggestion is to get a 3x3 animal +hot peppers next time and skip the fries. the burger alone is such a great experience you don't need the taters.

What good is dominion over all these delicious animals unless we eat a few of them.

3x3 animal-style w peppers eh, sounds good. I did get my onions grilled, I might try em raw next time as well.

Pigs are one of the animals that I don't eat. So I definitely like to try anything that is a plant-based replacement.

I do 2 double doubles with whole grilled onions, no fries. The fries are among the worst I've had anywhere. Animal style tastes like cat vomit but some people like it so try it out. Hot peppers sounds like a good idea. I'll try that next time.

2 double doubles definitely better burgers than a 3x3. Raw onion> grilled. Add pickles, no sauce.

lol plant based.

Just eat actual plants maybe?

KFC sent me an e-mail that now for a limited time they will have Beyond Chicken that tastes "just like chicken" (disclaimer: not prepared in a vegan/vegetarian manner).

Nice, any idea if Beyond Chicken tastes good or no? Their burgers are good for fast food burgers.

The taco bell on the Vegas strip is the best taco bell I have ever been to. Dedicated to the ff game.

I believe it.

Coincidentally, the Chipotle on the Vegas strip was always the worst I'd ever been to. At least that was the case many years ago. In my experience, the quality of service at Chipotle has dropped significantly at all locations from where it was at 10 to 15 years ago so I can no longer claim that location between Casino Royale and Harrah's as being unusually bad.

I laughed so hard at this.

I can see why you avoid advertising.
