Bennigan's used to have a burger like this when they were around. It was my favorite thing as a kid. The patty was way bigger and they added marinara in between that thick cheese wheel and burger. It looks solid tho.

The double is better, but the cheese is mostly lost - even on the single. Moving things around so the curd is between the patties was a good move. Also, it must be hot to be enjoyable.

Which FF joint has the best pickles?

I'm partial to BK's but I've really enjoyed the pickles on a KFC chicken sandwich.
