They're pretty ok if they're running the 10 for $1.49 deal. Get some ranch dip and you're in good shape.

Ordering a whopper jr or multiple whopper jrs seems like a slap to my own face

With multiple Whopper Jr's you might as well order a bunch of side salads, no dressing, and 2 or 3 of the smallest flame broiled (on one side only) patties that they have available.

Now multiple Rodeo Burgers..... Now we're talking. That flavor profile is top tier in the value FF market.

I'm bitter at this BK resurgence as the closest BK is 8 miles away. Which in VA can be a 30-45 minute drive depending on the time of the day.

I can't wait to GTFO of this (good) food desert.

I havent eyeballed a whopper jr in many years. I have to imagine its at least a $2 burger in today's climate.

The 2 whopper jr. and 2 small fries for 4 bucks is one of the best FF app deals going anywhere imo.

I just got so Whop-blocked it is UNREAL:

Been working on a project that is going to go late into the night tonight and have been anticipating a $3 Double Whopper for a few hours. Finally pull the plug and head to BK around 11:30. Mobile app my order and go to drive thru:

Old lady not a manager at window: Can I help you?

Me: Order 11 please.

I'm sorry we don't have any meat.

What?

We don't have any meat.

You don't have any meat?

Yes, the broiler isn't working so we can't cook any meat.

Ok no problem, so what about my order I just paid for in my app?

Literal *shrug*

That's it...a shrug?

Let me get the manager.

Manager lady I have dealt with before who is very nice: I'm sorry the broilers aren't working and we can't cook any meat. Can I get you something else instead.

Thanks I was just about to ask that to the other lady.

We have all the chicken and fish sandwiches.

I'll take a Spicy Chicken thanks.

Here you go, sorry about that. You want some fries too or anything else.

No thanks. Thank you.

Customer service is hard. First lady was just a complete bozo, but I can also empathize working graveyard drive-thru 30 minutes before cloing on a Monday so no big deal.

Chicken sandwich was the definition of meh as I was thinking about a Double Whopper for the prior 4-5 hours.

Whop-Blocked!

I had 10 spicy nugz last week with my spicy chicken combo meal.

the spicy nugz were HOT (temperature, so they were prepared fresh) and I got them with ranch. I also got 2 packets of ranch when I'm only supposed to get one. #RunGood

It's not a bad deal imo. Worth it for $1.49.

Could be. I was also offered chicken or fish and declined.

Standard restaurant shift and service end at the same time bull****. Cook off an expected amount then break down and clean the broiler so they can leave at end of shift. Same thing with the shake machine.
Then some bozo drives up and orders a couple double whoppers.

I can understand 11:50 a lot better than 11:20 if they are closing at 12. May try some BK corporate contact just to see what happens.

You're only supposed to get one sauce packet for a 10 piece?? That can't be BK policy, can it?

Being that Game of Thrones is almost over, I decided to storm the Castle. The White Castle.

That’s a double cheese and a double jalapeño cheese of which I had two. They were both phenomenal. Really pleased with them.

Assuming we're talking about the little plastic rectangle cups (like the ones McDs sweet n sour, hot mustard come in), I'm actually OK with a limit of 1 free sauce per $1.49 10-piece. I recall hearing that those rectangle cups actually cost like 10 or 15 cents each. They're probably actually losing money or close to it on 10 nuggets for $1.49, I'm OK with them not adding 10-15% more to their cost by giving away an extra sauce. And generally I loathe paying for sauce, which I'm sure I've ranted about itt.

There's no chance that sauce packets cost them that much.

Also, these corporations make insane amounts of $$, you should feel zero guilt about getting 10-15 cents worth of something from them (which it doesn't cost). Think about how many sauce packets TB gives away no problem.

I worked at McDonald's for like 3 weeks when I was 17. There was a manager used to say that McDonald's corporation as a whole can pay their entire payroll just off of soft drink sales.

Gimmie an extra packet of sauce dammit!

I know i cant be the only one that completely loads up on napkins, plastic forks/knives, sauces, etc. when i go inside to order/get my food?? Usually i prefer to go in and order because i think it will be fresher/better prepared and also to see what i can take lol

I specifically go into robertos because i know im getting my burrito along with a months supply of napkins and utensils. Which reminds me im running a bit low will have to hit up a california burrito in the near future.

I used to know a Mickeys franchisee. He said the cups were that much. They sold extras for their cost. The foil pouches you tear open are next to nothing but anything that comes in a cup is big bucks. Or big cents, rather.
