I worked at Chipotle last year for 2 months. Towards the end they changed their policy from timing the chicken for 12 minutes to having the cooks eyeball/temp it so they could be more chef-like or whatever. We literally stopped using the egg timer. Sometimes the grill cooked unevenly, and obviously we weren't temping every piece of meat.

Had Big Mac sauce on McDouble again. There was a woeful lack of sauce but burger still tasted better than w/ ketch and mustard.

Again no charge for the sauce but it was the same cashier.

Taco time sucks - that is all

taco time claims their food is fresh, but the last few times i've made a panic decision to pull into a TT and get food they've finished every item in the microwave for 15 seconds before serving (you can see them do it if you order inside). makes everything very lukewarm and blah.

Just get crisp beef burritos or habanero chicken and tots. Ordering anything else on the menu is a fish move.

Standard soft taco not bad and usually has a ton of meat. Two things the nearest Taco Time is advertising on their board that I will NOT be ordering are homemade chili and pumpkin empanadas.

The soft tacos are really good, but goddamn are they expensive. The combo with small drink and tots is $9.

Exactly what I ordered. Tots under seasoned burritos really boring.

4 for 5.55 deal bro

I imagine they'd let u swap crisp for soft, but even if not diff in value is severe enough to sack up and go crisp

I prefer crisp meat but if they aren't on sale that day I go two crisp juans, a small drink, and then WILD CARD

maybe a taco, maybe a 3rd juan, maybe a mexi-fry, perhaps a crustos ... WILD CARD

Depends your affinity for ice cream

Blizzard and frosty are the immediate counters that come to mind, some slappy will chime in with Shamrock Shake I'd imagine too

If a place has soft serve and offers chocolate that's usually the way to go, merge the occasional SWIRL in your range also if avail

Taco Bell's cinnamon twists that are to churros the way that onion rings are to Funyuns are WOAT

Good info, DI. Thing is, that soft taco ain't on the list. After quick glance I couldn't tell if the list required any kind of a coupon or if that's always available. If so, I will go a few times. Never had a Juan, think I've had one crisp meat.

It's always available. It used to be 4 for $5.00.

I know the soft taco isn't on the list, I posted about it. The website doesn't have the prices but most places crisp and soft are the same cost. If so, they'll prbly let you swap if requested but I dunno. Unless you were ordering the super soft taco instead of the standard soft taco.

Or just order whatever you want and tell them if they look hard enough they'll find a deal you stumbled upon. You just have to overcome their initial objection.

Reason being is that I was in Taco Bell last Saturday and a woman started bitching really loud because she had ordered her food in advance and Taco Bell didn't have the order. She started going off saying "my son needs his prescriptions and the store is gonna close soon!!!" I just had to ask her why she didn't get the medicine first and then come to Taco Bell. She then proceeded to tell me it was none of my business and had the nastiest scowl on her face until they gave her the food. I took a pic of her but unfortunately have lost it.
you sound like a real winner.

Whatever they call "soft taco" is more like a burrito and is $5.49. I guess that would be the super soft taco.

Lol at last paragraph.

Just snagged a Culver's Double Deluxe no mayo, $4.59 pre-tax. Such a tasty burger, and great service ofc. I'm gonna try their Reuben next time.

Huge fan of culvers...lately i have been just getting their snack pack meals which are all 4.99 for a small burger fries and drink. It's a solid deal and a relatively light lunch instead of a huge gut buster burger.

I ended up at whataburger today and swooped the patty melt because I was starving and It was delicious on their Texas toast.

Wendy's $4 thing is the best FF value since the JBC was $.99

Got the ~ monthly coupon sheet in the mail the other day so I see a BOGO Double Deluxe in my future soon. That's the best 2/$5 deal out there.

Next time I hit Wendy's I need to ask if they'll give me a lemonade for a reasonable upcharge (it's like 30 cents with a normal combo) -- I think they have the best lemonade in the fast food game.*

* No Chick-Fil-As handy to test that theory though

Damn, I used to get those like clockwork, but they stopped coming about a year ago.

My fast food app collection:

McDonald's
Taco Bell
Carl's Jr Super Star

Tons of value in using all of those apps. Wendy's needs to get on the train!

edit: CFA too! But I guess the calendar deal is sort-of a decent substitute.
