This is one of my all time favorite shows. Agree Season 3 not quite as good as first 2 but the series as a whole is fantastic. I've recommended this to several friends and family members and they've all told me they loved it. Completely different than almost anything else on TV and a must-watch imo.

Feels like Clooney should stick to acting. He's directed a bunch of films and they range from mediocre and dull to outright bombs. I guess Good Night and Good Luck was his best, although I think that was wildly overrated and did not deserve any of the Oscar nominations it received.

bridgerton is really good if you like that Jane Austen kind of crap

I thoroughly enjoyed that show. The only thing I didn't like about it was it's only 19 episodes long

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind was his directorial debut and he knocked it out of the ****ing park. It’s a real gem that not a lot of people talk about. Sam Rockwell is amazing in it.

I know it probably doesn't fit well on a poker forum even if it is about Netflix, but one of my friend's sister's wrote Bridgerton. Watched the first episode today. It's pretty good :-) I admit I couldn't get my husband into it though.

Main character of detectorists was Garith in the UK office(Dwight equivalent). Think he was involved in the show in some other capacity besides just as the leading actor as well.

I signed up for free week of CBS all-access. Review and Sarah Silverman Program are elite and I will be rewatching those along with a couple star track tng, but nothing else seems worthwhile. Anything I'm missing?

Watched first 2 seasons. Really enjoyed it for a slow roller. The second season was a bit redundant though and haven't had any real desire to watch the 3rd

Nothing really comes to mind. The tagline from IMDB is:
An anthology series that follows three women in different decades all living in the same house, as they deal with infidelity and betrayals in their marriages.

It's a dark comedy and goes between 1960's, 80's and 2018.
It's 8.3 rating there, 67% tomatometer and 95% Audience score.

So I finally got about to watching Peaky Blinders. I'm through the first four seasons. It's very good and well worth watching, but I have a couple of beefs.

Some story lines and relationships feel rushed. For example, they didn't spend enough time with the Tommy/Grace relationship for me to understand why Tommy was so devoted to her. And Tommy's plans aren't always explained well enough. For example, I never fully understood what Tommy's plan was vis-a-vis Sabini.

Also, this show highlights the huge difference between over the top scenery chewing by a good actor (Tom Hardy) and over the top scenery chewing by a hack (Adrian Brody). Tom Hardy is a lot of fun as Alfie, whereas Adrian Brody just looks like he is trying to channel Marlon Brando in The Godfather.

Flaws aside, as I said, PB is really good. Cillian Murphy is much better as gangster than you might imagine.

Have you seen/heard her?!

If you enjoy over the top, bit ridiculous, period drama Hardy, I recommend Taboo. Very solid but seemed to fly under most people's radars. Hopefully will be another season coming at some point in the future.

Just finished the first season yesterday ; thoroughly enjoying, especially given I came in with no expectations and having never heard of the show
