I watched the Lincoln Lawyer for about 30 seconds. Just really not a David E. Kelly fan. Should probably give it another chance since I enjoyed the first couple of books.

The premise of Night Sky sounds cool and the cast is great, unfortunately reviews aren't too good.

Watching Hit and Run with Lior Raz (Fauda) on Netflix. Only 2 episodes in so not sure exactly what's going on or whether I recommend it, but it's compelling enough that I'm going to watch the whole thing.

I don't know what is going on with the settings on apple on "Now and Then". Apparently, the show is in multiple languages, English is one of them. But it looks like all of it is dubbed and I don't think you can do anything about it.

They flashed something on the screen in the beginning about dubbing settings, but I don't see how.

I changed it to Spanish(Latin America) audio and English sub title. I think that fixed it. Not sure.

I'm re-watching Squid Game and submitting an article for Buzzfeed about pandemic fuzz. First thoughts are it wasn't good. Next up, Ed R Murrow award.

Cruised through the 4 available eps (on HBO) of We Own This City today. I saw Jon Bernthal and I'll watch anything with him in it; he's always excellent. I'd have trouble saying it's in the same class as The Wire... it's a bit too simplified and heavy-handed (the people of Baltimore don't trust the cops, WE GET IT). With that said, though, I still rate it highly and will absolutely watch the next episodes as they come out.

Haven't seen Hollywood on Netflix mentioned in this thread. It's nothing spectacular, but it's pleasant enough. Basically they took race issues, gay issues, and sexual assault stuff and turned it into a story about a group of actors and filmmakers set in the 50s or something. As I'm describing it now, I'm realizing that had I read my own description, there's very little chance I'd have wanted to watch it. Oh well, it was OK.

EP4 of We Own This City was the first great one. I expect it to finish strong now that all of the characters are in place and we know what’s happening.

I would always go directly to Hulu, etc. and use the promo code rather than clicking an email link.

It's not even close The Wire for me and I agree with your criticisms, getting pretty tired of episodes being 4 or 5 different scenes of cops stop people, rough them up then steal from them.

Definitely Simon’s weakest. I’m not connected to any part of it aside from how it will end. I dig the acting, the characters and whatnot, but it’s does feel very.... pandemic’y if that makes sense lol

I'm really enjoying The Offer but bummed I cant finish because I started watching assuming I could binge the whole thing, got to episode 6 and there were no more. now I'm impatiently waiting for the rest, this modern world is spoiling me rotten!

Had higher hopes for this dinosaur series on Apple TV. It's not great
