Indeed. I have very fond memories of watching it @ the Castro in SF as part of a $7 for 2 movies night, or something, which also included a guy randomly playing an organ before the movies. What a place.

Didn't know there's a S2 already. I thought the 1st season was cringe and ridiculous while everyone else seemed to love it, FWIW.

Caught a couple of solid forum series ; Trapped, an Icelandic neo noir crime thriller where the main character is Iceland's glacier winter outdoors. The ambiance is elite, music score GOAT and the production excellent and yet, I was still bored while staring at its magnificence (I still recommend it though).

La Mantis, a French dark crime thriller which is definitely enthralling ; Fossilkid :
Spoiler:
this is a must watch for you friend

If you like something enough to recommend it, maybe take five seconds out of your life to say where you found it.

La Mante on Netflix and Trapped on Prime.
Always use Justwatch to find out.

Yeah, we could all google it - and I did with Trapped, as it sounded interesting - or the one single person could save everyone the trouble.

EDIT: just a small irritation, like people stopping in the middle of the sidewalk, or leaving their carts instead of returning them to the corral or the store. Be better!

I know what you mean, even googling it won't always work. Just pointing out how good Justwatch is.

Unless it is a netflix original or similar, various regions have very different content.

Saw the first two episodes of Naked Director. True story about a guy who got into the Japanese porn business in the early '80's. Enjoying it so far. Apparently the second season is better than the first, so I'll likely see this one through to the end.

Thx. I wasn't to go out of my way to specify it to that self-centred idiot after the tone that he used, but yeah, depending in what country you are watching Netflix, the content varies significantly and hence rendering it useless to mention what streaming service you are using, but I assume that that fellow - most likely an American, I presume... - lacks the empathy to envision anything outside of the USA #1 box that he grew up in...

Haven't tried justwatch. I always just use the search function on the roku and it covers all the options I have available to me...I think.

Just saw there is a second season of I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson was released yesterday.

I just watched the first episode last night, but imagine you'll enjoy it if you liked the first season.

Watched the whole thing last night and thought it was great. Maybe a slight decline from season 1, but still plenty of literal LOLs throughout. My only complaint is it's again only 6 15-minute episodes.

Nice. I'm going cut NetFlix for a couple months and go with Hulu and Prime, but I'm going to cram this in.

Was happy to find new episodes (S3) of Mr. Inbetween on Hulu. Seriously dark, violent, occasionally touching series.

If you like this show check out his show Detroiters. It’s on paramount plus. Two hysterical seasons.

Anyone watch Evil on Paramount+? Is it any different with it moving from CBS? I liked it but getting tired of buying more streaming services - plus it's not released all at once - only have 3 eps up now of S2.

It's pretty good. I got on the Amazon special with paramount being .99/mo for 2 months, but you can't get that anymore. But I am watching or going to watch a decent amount, so I might continue for a bit when the 2 months is up.

Why women kill is good also weekly. And will pick Good fight back up.
Then when WSOP starts that is where it will stream.

Meant to ask this a while back but say Netflix drop a show, as they are want to do from time to time, can someone else pick that up and run with it immediately or do they have to pay fees and wait for Netflix to lose internet in it completely? What's the scoop?

Still annoyed Netflix binned some programs never to return again it seems.
