Oh wow. Will have to have another crack at that. Remember I liked the episodes I saw in the first season when it first came out, although can't recall much expect he's a mime or clown.

Rodeo clown. He plays his twin brother as well.

Netflix also has between two ferns the movie and a comedy special where he plays piano.

Always intended to watch The Shield but never did, so I finally started (Hulu). I am enjoying it and I don’t put shoes down easily so I think I’m in for the long haul here.

Watched it as well and really only enjoyed it for the concept of seeing Vegas as a destroyed husk. The side plot of

govt sponsoring it so they could get alpha samples to create their own army

The daughter had me rooting for the zombies. Seriously, why

would you go in there on the one in a million chance of finding the mother, while putting yourself at immense risk and leaving the kids without any caretaker? And then running off from the group when they've literally said a nuke is on the way in like 10 minutes? In a movie where Vegas is walled off due to a zombie apocalypse led by alpha zombies who run a society and can procreate, this was the most unrealistic thing

Great show. The production looks awful but might just be the aging of it

It is long, but stick with it, it's a fantastic show with goat endings.

It's one of the last shows shot on film and in standard def...the filmmakers wanted it to look gritty and "old."

Love it. Louie gives an all time performance. Obv it’s funny as a gimmick, but eventually he just becomes Christine and even plays with your emotions and it’s awesome.

Watched Take Shelter (2011) on prime this week. It stars Michael Shannon. He starts having nightmares of an apocalyptic storm coming.

A bit slow to start, but overall enjoyable with great acting.

Been watching Manifest the last few days on Netflix. Right now it is the #1 show on Netflix rankings. I guess it was an NBC series. It kinda sucks but is okay enough to keep watching. But this is where my mindset is. If I were watching this on a weekly basis from NBC I would quit after a couple of episodes. But on a binging, watch it when I want schedule I can stick with it. I can't handle almost anything on a weekly schedule but can watch almost anything on a binging schedule. The streaming model has me totally bought in and I can't be bothered with waiting a week for the next episode. Even when their is some weekly series I really want to watch (ie Fargo, Better Call Saul etc.) I will let them accumulate on the DvR and then binge watch it when it's all there.

The Dead Don't Die - a small town zombie horror/comedy by jim jarmusch. jarmusch is hit or miss for me. enjoyed both ghost dog and only lovers left alive, but nothing else that he's done. this one certainly falls in the didn't enjoy category. fantastic cast including bill murray, tilda swinton, adam driver, danny glover, steve buscemi, chloe sevigny and more. but it's a jarmusch movie so it has all the jarmusch stuff that comes with that including wooden performances, overuse of deadpan humor, irrelevant dialogue, and weird editing.

He Never Died - had no clue what this was about upon watching, other than it had henry rollins as some kind of immortal recluse. it's described as a horror comedy movie, but it isn't. violent black comedy, sure. if you enjoy rollins' work, you will enjoy this. it's a small movie, and doesn't try to be anything more than that. rollins does a great job. the writing is great, and the direction is enjoyable to the point that i watched a few scenes multiple times just because of how well put together they were. the focus is on showing rather than telling, and you may be left with a few questions after it's over.

Hereafter - been meaning to get around to this one for years. clint eastwood movie about how death affects three different unrelated characters. good performances. story is so-so, and because the film keeps jumping back and forth between the different sub-stories, it's slow. mood and overall theme are both enjoyable. even bryce dallas howard can't ruin this one.

I’m 6 episodes into Hacks and I don’t get the love. It’s pretty average so far.

Had Take Shelter downloaded for a plane ride. Go to open it and get a download error. Thanks Bezos.

I'm not going to let that bring down the GOAT show. It is a stand alone project that probably won't be great, but I'm in for sure.

Right, because it won’t bring anything down. People have to let go of this mentality.

If you love the original Star Wars films but hate the newer ones, that’s okay because the originals still exist and you can still enjoy them. A prequel or sequel has no bearing on the original product, nothing is “ruined” by additional chapters or adaptations. Godfather III sucks, but its existence doesn’t suddenly make the first two suck.
