BEAST im so short I might not even be able to get the ball up to the rim. This is a quick and easy $1,000 for you. I haven't really shot a basketball since high school.

Babs,

Handicapping contest takes weeks to complete.

Shooting wager takes an hour.

Makes perfect sense to do the shooting wager first.

Are you in? Seems like a no- brainer free money deal for someone who was a 3-pt shooting expert basketball hustler.

I mean were playing for a lot of money here....don't you want to reduce variance so that the inferior specimen doesn't get lucky on you?

I'm so small that my body will probably give out bigtime after the first 100 shots, making whatever contest we do 2nd a lock for you.

I don't have time to train. I work full time. I can shoot on the weekends and I don't eve know where the **** I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go buy a basketball tomorrow and hit up the school I guess.

Nice. I don't know where I am going to shoot either. The gym down the street has a court but Im pretty sure the 3pt line is closer than the college line. I think using the college/high school 3pt line is fair, im not trying to shoot nba range here and I don't evn know of a court that has them.

You need to start escrowing money right away, otherwise there's a ton of wasted time and effort if someone backs out.

Agree on an escrow schedule as part of the deal.

Should start with a lump sum - sounds like beast has $250 ready to go, so maybe start with that then add some amount weekly after that.

Just divide the total amount remaining by number of weeks til the event and that's the amount you should add to escrow each week.

Might be able to bet more but for now let's tentatively set it at 500.

I'll escrow some money right now if BEAST wants to. Even if he wants to escrow $25 now or something, and start doing $100 or whatever every Friday.

Who has held the money for the handicapping contests? I'm sure we can just use whoever did that, as long as they are ok with it.
