codesis,

I think whatthe was thinking more of a facecloth-type device covered with one big rotary/foil mechanism where you just wipe you face and it trims everything uniformly.

Try to keep up.

I used to post here as crashwhips and self-banned that account. Also I was back in early 2019 posting on here as Spin2Win.

What way did you think it was and what way is it?

A little of column A, a little of column B:

That is not a robot. I was thinking more Richie Rich style.

You wouldn't really get to "enjoy"(?) any of the beard growing process though
Yeah, I use them probably every two weeks on my beard, leave it a little longer on the goatee area and then shave my neck weekly.

You let your neck beard grow out every 3-4 months?

I tried to cut the "nether regions" in a mirror once. Not a good idea.

Mrs. Roundguy has taken over that responsibility.

Didn't crashwhips do an amazing HH thread in BBV years ago?

27bro,

I was responding to Big, which is why I quoted Big.
I hadn't even read whatthe's comment yet.

Try to keep up.

I have tickets to 3 Bob Dylan concerts the third week of June. A nice little road trip over a few days. Something I do almost every year, usually in a different state.

Even if those shows happen, which is no guarantee, I can’t imagine any circumstances in which I go.

I can’t imagine attending any event like that until there is a vaccine.

DANG IT!

Just got an unexpected package from China.
Completely forgot I ordered a shirt from dhgate right around Christmas that never came.
I feel like a complete ass now (even more than usual!) because my last message to the seller back in January was something along the lines of "well if your current shipper can't ship it then find another shipper. Come on man the entire country isn't sick!"
Whoops.

I hear ya.

I took my family on one of those drop our trips to Vietnam and Cambodia for a fews weeks.

On February 8, going back home, we transferred through Hong Kong airport and on arrival we get a temperature check and we are given a mask. We then headed into the gigantic departure terminal and everyone is wearing a mask.

I'm thinking wtf is going on.

Sweet shirt! I assume you disinfected it with Lysol

bob dylan was the worst concert i've been to in my life

did a double header with willie nelson, willie rocked then when he finished, the place emptied out and i asked some people who were leaving and they said bob hasn't been feeling it lately so we're sending him a message

i stayed, easily less than 100 people still out on outfield

it was horrible, he stayed hidden behind his piano in the corner, you couldn't even see him unless you were at a specifically awkward angle, it was like they intentionally hid him

he played some rando songs and most were sung by rando guest acts, it was basically as if you took a cd of cover songs of obscure bob dylan songs and that was the show

i thought i knew dylan really well going into that concert and yet he never played a single song i recognized, which i found shocking because i'dpreviously believed i'd listened to nearly all his stuff at least once over and some of it very frequently

I've heard the same elsewhere.

He probably gets a kick that that's so many people's takeaway.

Nothing makes my skin crawl more than Arkansas' side of the highway homemade bible quote billboards.

Saw Dylan in concert in Boston around 10 years ago. He had a pretty good band with him doing harder rock arrangements of his old classics, but his voice was real bad, just kinda incoherently growling out the words, and the new arrangements of the songs kinda wrecked what was special about them on top of it.

I just added a poll to the Mary Worth thread. Are you on team Jared or team Hugo?

Many years ago (probably early-to-mid 90s), saw Dylan at, of all places, the Iowa State Fair.

Terrible. Stumbling around the stage, seemed pretty wasted. Afterwards we were all discussing "did he sing this song or that song?", because we couldn't understand the lyrics or music.

To be fair, they were set up on a stage in the infield of a little horse track they had there, and we're just in the grandstands across the track, but everyone was very disappointed.

The last time I saw Dylan was at the Arizona State Fair, I dunno, maybe 10+ years ago? It wasn't recently, I'll say that. I remember thinking it was a pretty solid show, I knew some/most of the songs (not always true at a Dylan show) and his singing (" ") wasn't too bad. And this was in a venue not known for it's great acoustics (Vets Memorial Col in Phx, aka The Madhouse on McDowell, if you followed the Suns in the 80's)

State Fair shows are the best, free for the cost of admission to the fair. I've seen Dylan, Weird Al x2 (or more?), Jane's Addiction, and just recently The Cult. Great shows, but usually only a set, out by 10pm.

Ive seen Weird Al at state fairs a couple times. My brother has got to be in the show a few times, dressed as Darth Vader during the... Star Wars song. I don't recall what its titled.

I got to meet Al after one of them. 2010.

Yep, 2009. I was at that show.

Remembered that he was at the Az state fair in 2002 also. That was a great leg of the tour.
