Its a whole line all the bottles have purple on them. We color coordinate all the different types of products. So look for purple and all of it will work for your curly thick hair. There are shampoos, conditioners, treatments, products to keep curls or to make it more wavy, etc.

I know it can't be cured but I heared that you can get stuff that can heal it a bit.

Right-click and Save it to your computer, then change your avatar the way you added an avatar in the first place.

Paul Mitchell has a scalp treatment for that. You'd have to come in to get it done (at any Paul Mitchell). (You can also purchase the scalp treatment and do it at home so you don't have to keep coming in, cause for a bad case of it you might need it a couple times a week when others usually do a scalp treatment every other week or so). Also, tea tree shampoo's may help you but it could go either way. It could help you or it could have adverse reactions. And not to be a traiter to PM but Aveda I believe has something for it as well. But honestly, your best bet is to go to a dermatologist for that because they have medications that help with that and can get rid of it. Especially if it's on your skin and body, you should use medication for it. They may give you a topical medicine for it or they also have actual medications too. Thats my best advice for you.

no we deny people who have open lesions, bloody scalps (maybe due to itching or other reasons), lice, etc. Thats all mainly because its unsanitary and dangerous. We sanitize everything but would you want to get a haircut after someone that just had their hair done with blood or lice? That stuff could stick in our combs, brushes, etc and especially with blood, we can't be spreading blood diseases. It's not like we deny people who just have scalp or hair issues. I've had some clients with HORRIBLE scalps or nasty dandruff, but we are there to fix those things.

[QUOTE=jellykingturbo2000;36415942]I'm trying to achieve a sleek, straight look.

So, if you have curly or wavy hair and want straight hair I'd use maybe PM shampoo 2 or awapuhi or there are some others but then use super skinny SERUM and gloss drops on your hair when its damp and then either blow it out straight or when its dry straight iron it. Also use a heat protector before straight ironing it to not damage the hair and to keep frizz away.

Thanks Michelle for your answer. Gonna be a bit hard to visit one of your salons and get that scalp treatmnet since I'm a few thousand kilomiters away from the closest one . But I'll try that tea tree shampoon.
About dermatologist..... I can't actualy go to one cuz I can't afford it at the moment and I have to wait another 3 months to get my helat care for free..... that's why I'm searching for alternatives...

okay well knowing that then I have other suggestions....

If you have scales:

Apply salicylic acid gels to scales to make them easier to remove. Other scale softeners contain active ingredients such as urea, lactic acid, or phenol.
Loosen the scales with a brush or fine-toothed comb.
Shampoo your scalp to remove the scales, using a salicylic acid shampoo or soap. Apply emollients such as petroleum jelly or thick creams, oils, lotions, or ointments while scalp is still damp.

To reduce itchiness:

Use a conditioner after shampooing.
Limit using hot tools for styling.
Use wet towels, cold packs, or cold water on itchy spots.
Try over-the-counter tar shampoos or shampoos with menthol, topical steroids, or oral antihistamines.

For your body:

Dont use scalding hot water or too hot water when showering, bathing and especially when washing your hair. It can irritate it more and cause you more itching.
On your body use really thick creamy lotions right after showering. As in like minutes after getting out. your body absorbs more moisture when its still wet. Also some lotions like eucerin and nuetragena have specific lotions for psoriasis you can get anywhere.
Being overweight actually has something to do with worsening psoriasis conditions so try to be in shape... if you already arent
And maybe see if you can get a sample of the Tea Tree Shampoo to see if that'll help. GL!
