For those of you needing a new push mower, look for an electric mower. Preferably cordless.

Virtually no maintenance. Take the blade off in the fall and run it across the grinder. Plug it in after each use to recharge. Quiet, no oil changes, no spark plugs. Pretty good deal.

I'm'a wait for Dyson to make a mobius strip that you just leave in the yard and it cuts the grass silently using only the wind and positive mental energy

Saw a young couple (guessing ~20 years old a piece) at the grocery store today.

They both had tattoos on the backside of their elbows. She had 1974 on her left and 1984 on her right.

Guy had nothing on his left and 1973 on his right.

Any guesses wtf was the deal?

Birth or Death year of a loved one lost. Not uncommon.

I thought something like that initially, but it's still weird if you think of the timeline.

1974 and 1984 on a 20 year old? The year her parents were born? Placed prominently on her body? It's 40 and 50 years ago so it wouldn't be the death of someone notable in her lifetime.

Sure, that's quite the parlay tho.

Extremely bad luck that a couple have had three of their four parents dead so young.

It's 'nam out here.

Yeah he said it really pissed him off that people say that "nothing rhymes with orange" cuz he said it's all in the enunciation.

Then he busted out store hinge. door hinge. syringe.

the GOAT imo.

Nah. The true GOAT is Guy Clark. Shame on Cowboy for not mentioning a fellow Texan.

from "Cold Dog Soup"

Ginsberg and Kerouac
Shootin' dice and playin' Ramblin' Jack's guitar
With the cowboy paintin' pickguard on it
And they sat in the back and drank for free
And rhymed orange with Rosalie
Now there's a pride of lions to draw to

I know who Guy Clark is, but just considered him more of a songwriter. Had no idea he put out 20 albums and if someone played his version, I would recognize the song, but would never be able to identify it was him.

Maybe I need to take a dive into his catalog. Although pure folk music doesn't really appeal to me. We'll see.
