The coining of a cutesy phrase for something like that is indeed cringeworthy, even if it were a non-religious thing it would be bad. Unfortunately when it comes to people's grieving, you kinda have to grit your teeth and deal with whatever they decide to post (see stillborn discussion earlier ITT), you'd look like an extraordinary douchebag saying anything.
