Yeah, it's kind of weird that girls make lots of "I'm proud of not being able to control my anger!" posts.

Only to a guy. Women are under an incredible amount of pressure to be "nice" under every circumstance. It's empowering to think that we don't have to be well behaved all the time.

Not that I'm defending " have gun, will shoot" posts, but they reflect the fact that little girls are often taught that anger isn't feminine.

Which is probably why we come off as manipulative backstabbing bitches. We can't just say "I don't like you get out of my face".

We are also, for the most part,smaller and weaker than men and far more likely to become victims if violence. I'm​ sure you can imagine how that fear can translate into unwarranted posturing of the "don't **** with me" variety.

I should add that we're more likely to seek common ground with people than men are which makes us susceptible to "trends" which I am sure is also a factor.

Both those posts made me see something I hadn't considered before.
