I hope Artie is in today. I love hearing Howard weakly ask him softball questions and then say "I don't care, I don't care" when Artie gets real questions thrown at him.

He's been one of my favorite comedians for years. I saw him open for Breuer in 2000 or 2001 and he just killed him, to the point where I felt bad for Jim.

I believed Artie at first, but now I think he just found an excuse that no one can really question him on. When my dad died I just missed one day of school, it wasn't because I didn't care I was just young and really didn't understand the scope of things at the time. I could of taken 3 months off and no one can really question me if I'm really grieving for that long/hard to take 3 months of school off I think Artie is in this zone of defense.

Last weeks shows were much better then what I've been hearing lately. Hopefully they keep it up this week.

One thing I'm becoming annoyed with is how this show seems like highschool (and this may be a common thing with the show over the years that I'm just picking up on now). Everyone just seems so eager to run into the studio and bring down another person, taddle tale, tell embarrasing gossip, etc.

I must've missed this last week, but yeah, I think Tracy is probably the best guest on the show since Sam Kinison.

I get the impression this was much more prevalent about 5-10 years ago, and that Stuttering John was most well known for it. The "throwing under the bus" behavior that continues today is just a continuation. Also, every member of the staff knows that if they are getting dumped on, their best way out is to deflect on one of their peers. Really douchey, but makes for great conflicts. (lately it seems the JD vs Ronnie feud is pretty good, or any time Sal makes an ass of himself.)

I can't tell if they're out of ideas and/or Howard is just mailing it in, but I'm pretty tired of Medicated Pete. His story was interesting the first day, but there's no new content there, and he's not entertaining enough to mask that. Give his airtime to Ronnie, JD, Richard, and Sal.

This has been evident for quite some time. The show has evolved into nothing more than an inside joke for the amusement of it's ever expanding cast and a promotional vehicle for their various side projects.

Why'd they say Conan is a joke? I never heard what happened to him but I don't understand why the show views him as a late night joke.

True, but the show was still excellent for quite awhile. This last month or two has kinda sucked, and I find myself listening less and less each week.

christ is anyone watching jimmy fallon? i missed the one on one with artie but tuned in to watch when he was still out there with olivia munn and he was cracking me up. also olivia munn is a stone fox.

I haven't heard much of the show this week, but when Ronnie was asking permission for a party at Rick's, Gary got off a fantastic line:

"Isn't this a decision best left to JD?"

Artie killed on Fallon, and the fact that 90% of his wardrobe is Beer League shirts cracks me up.
