Good one.

Do you have "Whoa-o, black titties, ram-a-lam, whoa-o, black titties, ram-a-lam..."

BTW, in case you missed the Howard News Brief today (because this Stuttering John "tribute" is god-awful, and I happened to stumble upon the news update while channel surfing), Langford reports from Philadelphia, where Kenneth Keith was arraigned for his incident, and a charge of attempted kidnapping was added; and Shuli interviews Teddy, who confirmed that Artie calmly, politely, and respectfully fired him as assistant. Teddy says there are no hard feelings between them. Teddy will still work on the show, and he hopes things won't be awkward between them.

Howard 100 News says they don't expect any news on Artie's status with the show until Howard returns from vacation on Monday.

Obviously I'm way out of the Stern Show loop. Relationship with Jim who? Current status?

just heard a howard 100 news brief where artie was on stage for a comedy show and he said "i'll be back on the show monday."

also, the stuttering john retrospective was hilarious. nigggaless cage.

I hope artie has a heart attack during a show and dies.

I'm very happy to hear that, though from what I've read in this thread, I'm apparently the only person who wanted him to come back.

At first I thought it would be good for the show if he left, but I've changed my tune the past week from listening to a lot of old shows. I hope he comes back.

I just know that every time he misses a show I am pretty disappointed, so the more I think of it I couldn't imagine no more Artie.

I'm actually relieved to hear this. I just hope he did some serious ass-kissing and that he regains the gratitude to Howard that he often displayed when first joining the show.

In terms of entertainment, Artie is the best person to sit in that seat and I'd love for him to come back. But, part of that entertainment comes from him losing his cool and getting angry at people, which isn't good for him as a person.

Best case, Artie comes back, realizes what he almost lost, and is in top form again. Worst case is if he comes back, and hates being there. And in the middle would be him leaving, and them getting a new guy in.

I think most would want the first example, I know I would.

I just watched Artie's recent appearances on Kimmel and that Donny Deutsch (?) guy (both on YouTube).

Artie was a freaking mess last week. That "Big Idea" appearance really, honestly, truly looked like the sort of thing you'd see after someone dies, and they show what a mess he was in his final days.

I'll wait until a legit journalist breaks the story instead of Chaunce Hayden. Love how he even outs his "source" in the article.

An O+A fan I work with asked me about the Artie situation today. Then he told me that O+A played it on their show!

That blew my mind.

I don't think its a big deal they played it, Corrolla played it. And Howard always has played clips of other radio shows.
