Yeah, anyone who said Tradio wasn't funny has been proven wrong. This Richard and Sal parody was great, too.

Sal and Richard have turned Tradio/swap shop into classics, but I think the most important part of these calls is that the people they are pranking on air are so ****ing stupid.

I did college radio and I never read copy live on air, unless I had pre-read it, especially copy that were for birthdays or shout outs. It seems crazy that these people are such idiots that they don't even realize what they are saying is a joke.

Howard kicked ass on Letterman, as usual. The marriage stuff was great, and the Leno/Conan stuff, too. Stern and Letterman together always a winning combo.

I watched Parts 1 and 2, and thought, "Over the line? What are you talking about? It's Artie! What did you expect?"

Then I watched the Overtime link. Yikes. He was in "roast" mode, only he wasn't at a roast.

Somebody called the wrap-up show, saying that when he kicked heroin, he was acting a little goofy, unable to keep his mouth shut, blurting out every little thing that came to mind. And he says he now sees Artie doing the exact same thing.

Unrelated note: The clip Howard played of Scott Farrell "enjoying" the end of the hockey game was epic. "The Penguins win the Stanley Cup! Suck my ball sack, Detroit! F*** you, Hossa!"

Clearer vid

My thought is that he's super insecure around successful comedic actors. He used to rip on 40 year old virgin and Knocked Up. He was odd the first time Rogen was in studio, had to deal with Jack Black yesterday then shows up and sees Paul Rudd and desperately had to outfunny him.

Been a listener since 1995. I really hate Artie since he never shuts up and cant ever get a sentence out without stammering 5 or 6 times.

Who or what is Scott Ostrosky? I have never heard them mention it, but after Googling the name I found a few threads at Stern forums about the name with no straight answers. I went to elementary school with somebody by that name and there are only 10 in the U.S., so...

Listening to today's show and Artie coming off like a complete douche.

I used to be a pretty huge fan of him, but he has become almost impossible to listen to. How much do you make doing a night of standup Artie? I can't remember, remind everyone again please.

wow, those joe buck live clips were hilarious. Joe Buck Blows.
it was kind of rude to get invited onto a show and then just lambast a guy though, he shouldn't have cut into the other guests time.

Artie has become my new EricTheMidget, where as soon as I hear him begin to launch in to a story, I find something else to listen to for 15 or 20 minutes.

It's too bad, he was really good on the show for a long time, but it seems like that time has passed.

I think it's clear that Artie is a better sidekick when he's using. He's been annoying and unfunny for the last month or so, and Howard won't even fake-laugh at his stupid jokes anymore. And did anyone see him on Kimmel? Talk about bombing...it was downright embarrassing.

How come he doesn't get called out for talking about how much money he makes every argument he gets in? Seems like the opposite of how everyone else on the show acts and something that would bother Howard.

just heard the joe buck show thingie for the 1st time now and yeah, this pretty much sums up my thoughts on him lately too. everytime he gets into any kinda disagreement with someone, he immediately plays the 'i make more money than you' card. plus, it's obvious howard isnt too thrilled with him lately. he just plows forward without even commenting on whatever stupid story/joke artie just hijacked the show with.

as far as the appearance on the joe buck show, i don't think we can just look at this appearance and be like, "hey it's artie, you have to know what you're going to get". that's just a horrible take imo. artie can be funny and talk about sports without hijacking the show and using all kinda horrible language and homophobic humor. and btw, artie's way past homophobe at this point, it's more like he just flat out has hatred and anger for gay people.
