USA fell out of the top 10 in deaths per capita today with Mexico passing us. Belgium is getting walloped and building a huge lead in the non-microstate bracket. They're probably uncatchable now.

Researchers did this for Munich over the summer by testing some 5,000 households for antibodies at random. It came back to about 4x the number of positive tests they've had in Spring.

I don't really know the intricacies of these prearranged stock sales, however it is possible that he owns millions in options and selling the stock at a certain price is a standard form of hedging/rebalancing to offset the value of the options. Like I said I have no idea but it is standard for CEOs to get compensated in options.

At any rate if you look at Pfizer stock they are down YTD. The Covid vaccine will likely be a relatively small addition to their overall revenue even if successful. They are not some small biotech spiking 100%+ in a day on a press release. The focus on the CEO stock sale is missing the big picture of a very positive interim result.

Infective ability of the samples was assessed by inoculation of susceptible cell cultures but could not be determined in these experiments. Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in central ventilation systems, distant from patient areas, indicate that virus can be transported long distances and that droplet transmission alone cannot reasonably explain this, especially considering the relatively low air change rates in these wards. Airborne transmission of SARS-CoV-2 must be taken into consideration for preventive measures.

USA, Mexico, and UK in a 3-way tie for 9th at 754 deaths/million. All passed Bolivia at 753.

USA is either much better at testing people or getting people to not die or both. 2.2% in USA vs 4% in UK vs 10% in Mexico
