It's really impressive to me that you've still not managed to understand what a containment thread is and what it's supposed to accomplish, despite people telling you for weeks.

If the mods come back to me and say "Sorry Rasta, but even when you post on completely independent and abstract subjects you seem to attract so much ire and personal dislike that we're going to punish the victim and ban you in order to stop your presence from derailing the threads" then fine. But that is what they'd be doing.

I can see where he's coming from if he takes a containment thread to mean he can only post blog type posts in it, but is free to comment on unrelated topics when there is a thread on an unrelated topic.

Make a gimmick account. Use that to discuss celebs, pancakes, kittens, anything but you, you, you.

Keep your posting under the Rasta name confined to your containment thread. It's a tainted account now and you'll get no respect anyway.

As long as you can fit in under your new gimmick, no-one will care. Of course if your posting style instantly identifies you as Rasta... well you just may be an annoying jerk who needs to be contained or leave.
