If you want sheets that keep you cool get some really worn out threadbare sheets. Back when I had anything to do with my own sheets I had a super old sheet that was great when it was hot.

Hi there. I know a little about this stuff.

If you're dropping that kind of coin find a real linen shop in your area and actually feel stuff. What is more expensive isn't always "nicer."

Thread count hype is mostly a myth. The real high end brands don't advertise thread counts just like Rolls Royce doesn't talk about horsepower and tube amp mfrs don't talk about snr. It's only a small piece of the picture.

There are also some pretty specific instructions on how to properly care for bed sheets, especially depending on material. If you're like me and think wrinkle-free shirts are a gift from god, stay away from true linens and look at something else like Egyptian Cotton

More reasonably priced than Frette or Pratesi.

JFC, Im seriously thinking of conceding a point to someone because he's just too ****ing ****brained to even be able to grasp why the **** he's wrong. Its these dumdum people that turn the world to ****, its has been confirmed.

Yes, yes it is. Its a fat balding stupid fella that has been promoted to manager in an almost tbabsian manner (he was able to do his work without much problems = you must be fit to manage people). He actually swooped in for that function when I was already promoted to it back in the days when I thought managing people was fun, he was about to get the boot because of a reorganisation and instead of firing him THEY GAVE HIM A MANAGEMENT POSITION. This has largely to do with the fact that firing someone is practically impossible where I work.

That sounds pretty standard behavior for companies to promote someone to their point of incompetence and then leave them there.

What field do you work in, Yakmelk?

Gubernmental organisation that specializes in registrations of all kinds. He's not my manager fwiw but he's one of the users in a project Im working on and should be the expert wrt the process but he isn't and keeps arguing about basic stuff with me and messing with my documents. Luckily he's a firm believer of the option to remember changes in word so it isn't too much work to undo the damage he keeps inflicting on my work.

IME arguing with these types is a colossal waste of time, energy, and stress.

If you're certain you're correct does it matter wtf he has to say? Basically, do you even owe him an argument when whatever the issue is will get done your way anyway?

Work around him if possible IMO.

Thats probably good advice for my own stress levels but I think its important that he feels like he had a say in things because even though I dont think he's very smart I will need to work with him for another 3 years. We're only in the progress of doing the whole public tender thing and have just started so from tender to built to implementation will take a while and Im stuck with him till the end./rant

Lol, that sounds like a nightmare. I was actually asking because there's pretty much an identical situation in my office, so wondered if there was a random Yalkmelk lurking in the masses

Three years? I'd be looking at prices for hitmen.

it's been a while, but i seem to remember Germany & Spain being on my list of places that I would never open a ****ing office in if my choice. Just ridiculous places to do business.

Germany probably better these days. They did a whole raft of labour market reforms. Now Spain... Or France... No thanks.

I'm sure I am an ignorant USA#1'er, but I feel like starting an internet company in half of the European countries would be terrible. Seems like they are super willing to try and regulate and control the internet while being largely lacking knowledge about basically anything.

Mostly, that cookie alert on LOL EURO websites and that we have to put on all international clients' sites is LOL.

National regulation isn't too bad. EU regulation is often puke worthy.

Just clicked on a link and ended up with this

Anyone heard of Moroccan Agent Secret before?
03-17-2015 , 05:39 PM
after a little research looks like they might be a legit group
http://www.ehackingnews.com/2012/12/...n-hackers.html

what link did you click
03-17-2015 , 05:39 PM
How am I supposed to pronounce that?

"An ewish"
03-17-2015 , 05:44 PM
Don't remember the link, it was just something from a google search, but they have a Facebook page where they list all the sites they've hijacked https://www.facebook.com/MoroccanAgentSecret

We must protect the children palestiniens !!!!!

Looking quickly at those pastebins and clicking a few of the sites I could get to load, they are all using Windows IIS 7.5. So if you go through a list of vulnerabilities here: http://www.cvedetails.com/vulnerabil...osoft-IIS.html you can probably figure out what the common issue was.

Calling them a "legit group" is not really accurate. There are millions of vulnerable websites out there with easily and widely known exploits, outside of that everyone is basically vulnerable everywhere anyway.
03-17-2015 , 05:51 PM
yes, but after seeing their facebook page after seeing them after "agent secret" I figured it was an Onion hoax or a rando truther
