Apparently Steve Moore spoke to her. It was mentioned on Facebook. I always suspected ng didn't know all the details and don't recall this case getting much airtime on her show at all. She was more interested in tot mum 2008-2011

Yep, so as things go, a host of a show that previously held a public opinion that an American girl is guilty of murder, doesn't bother saying that after being properly educated on the matter by Steve Moore, that she has changed her opinion to "not guilty." I mean, now that she has the "real story" she's not going to bother telling this compelling information to the rest of the world.

Do you even realize how utterly stupid you sound?

Why would she just out of the blue admitt on her show that she'd made a mistake months and months after the case ended?

She never admitts being wrong about anything on her show.

Rudy Guede did it.

Henry won't admit he's wrong even when there is video proof.

That's pretty much all you need to know.

Deadspin: maybe you should try contributing something new to the thread. You're getting bitched at because all you're bringing is the same tired lines that have been brought 500 times already and had to be told when to elaborate and how. "She's innocent and Henry sucks" is a bit... junior.

What is your opinion of the Galati appeal? Do you think Hellman will be upheld or rejected? Why or why not?
What's your opinion of Dr galatic's appeal? What impresses you the most?

For me, after a few aspirin reading it, it was defending the heroin addict police stooge eyewitness. Priceless :

FatTony,

Please explain the Galati-Costagliola appeal in your own words.

I'm not interested in commentary or opinion just very briefly explain what the arguments are.

According to Tony, the Galati appeal is moot, because he has "privately recanted."

I hope you're better at playing poker than giving cliff's notes.

Oski, can you give us a rundown of what you believe the evidence shows happened that night? Your last one was a hoot and the thread is getting a little stale.

Thanks.

I'll stick by my last one. I think it's very solid when you incorporate the tweaks recommended by Henry (he posted his version after I posted mine and they were very similar, but Henry's version of the actual killing episode is much better).

Can you link to those posts? It would be interesting to see your narrative with Henry's addition in the same post as mine.

This is pretty much Henry's MO throughout this thread. He tries to set up situation after situation where he becomes the sole arbiter of right and wrong which distracts from the reality that his view of the evidence is illogical on multiple levels.

WTF?

He claims to have read a document. I asked him to summarize the contents of that document.

You do that so you can call him an idiot for not doing it the way you'd do it. You could just summarize it for us.

Henry what is the strongest argument in the appeal? The one you expect is most likely to sway the SCC?

I am happy to discuss the merits of the appeal arguments once you summarize them so I can be assured that you have actually read it.
