Not saying the gorilla tried to kill her.

The gorilla only attacked her. She had been a regular visitor to the gorilla enclosure - as much as 4 times per week. She would tap the glass and make eye contact with the alpha - which they view as a threat. She had been warned not to do this by staff.

lol

Who's laughing now bitch?

People do have a tendency to stand around like pansies and let themselves get hurt, but if we are going to assume that the gorilla is going to fight, we have to assume the powerlifters will as well and despite what the policeman said on channel 11, I don't think PCP turns people into superpowered raving maniacs.

IRL gorillas are relatively peaceful. Their fights rarely result in serious injury. They have almost never attacked people. As far as we know, in the wild they are completely vegetarian.

Chimpanzees are terrible bastards though. In Chimpanzee Politics, a power struggle for alpha male was documented where two chimps ganged up on one and ripped his balls off. Chimps, unlike gorillas, have big balls. Size of testicles is related to mating behavior and more polyamorous species have bigger testicles.

No, but it makes them more impervious to pain and would help with the terror aspect.

Animals also play fight, which gives them an advantage here. How often do people really fight? Especially huge beefed up mothers who probably scare most people ****less.

Obviously most people are giant pansies who aren't accustomed to pushing through pain, but that's not an issue with this particular theoretical situation, since strength trainers are certainly used to that.

I still think as described in the OP, this is the gorilla in a landslide. One swipe of his arm and people are going to be unconscious or have **** broken, if they haven't already been killed.

Knee strikes to limit mobility of beast, if you could somehow cripple the beast he would be easier to kill. It would have to be an extremely tactical strategy for BB to have a shot.

The only conceivable way multiple men would have a chance is if somehow all for extremities are pinned down at the exact same time and are held immobile.

Good luck with that.

I think the gorilla thinks its jaws are its best weapon, and would tend to want to use mass/strength primarily as a way to overpower and get up close to bite and maul.

The gorilla will probably not fight optimally and will end up trying to evade whatever formation the body builders are in because they will look intimidating. The gorilla's first attack will probably be desparate and if he fixates on one person giving the rest of them a chance it might be close.

you dont think 1.8 tonnes of man could do that to 200kgs of gorilla? even after a few casualties there's still over a tonne of weight.

Here's my crack team of 12 gorilla killers:

1. Alexander Karelin, 6'4" 286 lbs.

Godlike Russian wrestler who routinely picked up 250+ lb. men and threw them to the ground.

Quote:
Karelin was famous for his reverse body lift, the "Karelin Lift", where facing the opponent who was lying flat on the mat to keep from being thrown, Karelin hoisted his opponents into the air and slammed them violently to the mat. This devastatingly effective maneuver, when properly executed, awarded Karelin 5 points per throw, the maximum awarded in Greco-Roman wrestling. The throw had long been in use by lighter wrestlers but not by heavyweights since the technique required immense strength. Karelin's ability to perform this throw against elite opponents weighing as much as 130 kg was amazing to audiences as well as other participants and observers of the sport.
2. Nikolai Valuev, 7'0" 320 lbs.

Another Russian beast who is athletic enough at his size to have been a successful heavyweight boxer. Bonus: Gorilla may confuse Valuev for a fellow gorilla; this could lead to all kinds of strategic advantages.

Ty Cobb, 6'1" 175 lbs.

Ty is fairly average sized, but you'd be hard pressed to find a meaner human, or one with less inhibition about ripping a gorilla's nuts off.

Quote:
It's impossible to put Cobb in a modern context. We're talking about a player with the talent of A-Rod, the psyche of Eminem, and the worldview of Jefferson Davis. This is a man who was universally regarded as the best baseball player in the country, who was a celebrity product spokesman, who golfed with Presidents and financial barons and died with millions of stock in Coca-Cola and General Electric, but who spent his life getting in fist fights with drunken fans and black people who looked at him the wrong way.
Quote:
It was May 15th, 1912, and the Tigers were in New York at Hilltop Park, playing the New York Highlanders, who would soon change their name to the Yankees. From the start of the game Cobb was exchanging insults with a heckler behind the Tigers' dugout. For a brief time, Cobb maintained his cool, but after the third inning went to the New York dugout to request that the fan be removed. By the sixth inning Cobb's patience had ended. The fan, a Mr. Claude Leuker, made the mistake of suggesting Cobb's mama had been a "*****". The exact wording of the insult has been lost but the key word was recalled, though afterwards Cobb would only say that the fan had been "reflecting on my mother's color and morals." After Cobb's teammates asked him if he was going to continue to take that, Cobb vaulted twelve rows into the stands and began to whoop the snot out of the heckler, who happened to be handicapped.

Yes, Mr. Leuker had lost all of one hand and most of another in an industrial accident. He had only two fingers. Thus as Cobb was savagely beating Mr. Leuker into a bloody pulp, the crowd protested that he had no hands.

Cobb, without stopping, announced, "I don't care if he got no feet." And he didn't stop. Mr. Leuker only survived because the police managed to drag Cobb away before he expired.
4. Mariusz Pudzianowski, 6'1", 255 lbs.

5-time world strongman winner, MMA competitor, Jesus Christ just look at the guy.

Quote:
Before the fight Mariusz said: "Lewa ręka niesie za sobą śmierć, a prawej sam się boję." (English: "The left hand brings death, but the right one even I am afraid of.")
5. Whichever Navy SEAL shot Osama bin Laden, probably 6'2" 200 lbs.

We can assume the guy is trained in all kinds of deadly arts and would be a valuable addition to the gorilla-killing team even without any specialized gear or weapons. Having already taken down Osama, subduing an overgrown chimp should be a walk in the park.

6. Genghis Khan, 5'4" 145 lbs.

Don't let his small stature fool you, Genghis led armies that, by some estimates, killed between 10-15 million people as his mongol empire stomped all around the East in the middle ages. If anyone can successfully mobilize 12 humans against a silverback, it's this guy.

Quote:
Genghis Khan was one of the most powerful warlords during his reign, as a result the harem that he kept was of enormous size. It is said that his harem reached anywhere from 2,000–3,000 women.
7. Tim Tebow, 6'3" 236 lbs.

In addition to being a world-class athlete, Tebow inspires his fellow men to achieve their maximum potential. Some may question the mechanics of his kill strikes, but at the end of the day, he always seems to find a way to ram a human shin bone through the gorilla's throat.

8. Mike Tyson, 5'10 220 lbs.

Yeah, yeah, the gorilla has scary teeth. Guess who else isn't afraid to bite?

9. Steve Irwin, 5'11" 190 lbs.

He knows the gorilla better than the gorilla knows himself. Count on this guy to have a thumb up that ape's butthole within the first 10 seconds of the battle.

10. Andre the Giant, 7'4" 475 lbs.

Best case, his massive size helps pin the silverback as others pulverize its body. Worst case, his arms and legs can be used as giant bats.

11. Hannibal Lecter, 5'9" 165 lbs.

While less physically formidable than his teammates, Hannibal is intelligent and devious. 5 minutes into the battle he will probably be wearing Mike Tyson's face and playing dead. When the gorilla is distracted, he will strike it the perfect pressure point, causing it to lose consciousness. Then all he needs is a nice chianti and some fava beans.

12. Justin Bieber, 5'10" 130 lbs.

I'm so confident that the other 11 will get the job done that I can afford to put Justin Bieber on the team.

lol humans don't have a chance. Just look at the size of the gorilla's forearms, neck and jaw muscles. Yeah, I am sure biceps and pectorals are very useful in a fight to the death.

Your energy drains incredibly fast after only 2 minutes of this.
So with that in mind. The bodybuilders win.
UL silverback.
This is ridiculous. The strength difference is nowhere close to a 25 year old and a 15+ year old. I don't understand how you'd think this is a valid comparison. Picture twelve 5 year olds swarming you and your 27 year old friend and it's probably a more accurate comparison.

lol you can't just add up the weights. I doubt two men could hold down one limb, and that's completely ignoring the difficulty of two men getting a hold of a limb in the first place.
