They probably have a more tolerant, broader viewership than OOT, where saying women are lizard-minded beings ruled by emotions is met with applause and agreement instead of derision.

He has self-confidence issues. He really liked her but couldn't say a word.

The guy who said "smile" early in the video needs to be shivved. That is pretty awful.

That was much more than just confidence, anxiety etc... 5 minutes of walking silently besides someone who has shown no interest in you is a long time. Walking behind her for 10 minutes would be less aspy.

I'd love to bet a lot of money against this if it were possible to work out the logistics.

Maybe you're referring to a slum in Thailand with ladyboy prostitutes?

You guys aren't taking this very serious issue seriously.

There was too many winks to even count for Christ sake!

If I walked for ten hours straight and filmed it, I'd put up a number considerably higher than what this woman did. The comments wouldn't be of a sexual nature, but I'd get plenty of requests for money, asked for freebies of company product (food and beverage business, often have samples in the car or with me) or random stuff similar to the guy in the video who preaches "God bless you" etc. There's also the random snide comment from minorities about my being white, "can you hook me up with a job bro" "yo is your company hiring" etc.

It's unfortunate that men out on the street do this type of thing, and I feel for this woman, but it's not the world's most offensive thing as it's being made out to be. A lot of the comments shown are innocuous.
To be fair, almost none of the comments in this video are of a sexual nature either.

Would be able to list places in Australia, Africa and Asia (I haven't spent much time in the Americas and couldn't really identify anywhere in Europe).

If we are talking first world only, Lygon St in Melbourne, Australia would be the first area that comes to mind. Russell St back 8 years ago probably would have made close to it just on being offered drugs.

Cuba St Wellington would probably hit 30/hour at certain times as well.

And if we are talking strictly bar areas in Thailand I'm pretty sure it would hit 180+/hr; in fact one every 20 seconds feels like I'm lowballing it.

Plot twist - all those guys were actually talking to the person holding the camera

Are all women in NY delusional enough to call this sexual assault? I mean tbh this woman isn't even that attractive. Let's not flatter ourselves, miss

The guy following her for 5 mins was a bit much though

And I'm guessing they used the worst ones for the video. So a bunch of those "hey how you doin today" were among the worst of the worst. Embarrassing video.

Honestly, I think he's full of ****.

This is obviously a semi-scam money grab in general. He probably had her walk around the lower income areas of the city as much as possible to get the most content in the shortest amount of time.

After the fact he realized that because of where he had her walking around, barely any white people were involved in "catcalling".

Instead of admitting they did what they did (predominately walking in selected low income areas), he just decides to say that there were plenty examples of white dudes harassing the girl and it's just a coincidence that 100% of them weren't usable. If they appeared racist they obviously wouldn't get any donations from their target market.

I see the point they're trying to make in the OP's video, but I don't care about it.

These are the same people asking guys for cigarettes, trying to sell you bull**** all the time, giving you some sob story supposedly for bus fare. I'd definitely trade all that for randoms telling me my ass looks good.

Wow you guys are clueless. I'm not even saying this video was well executed, but lol at thinking asking you to bum a cigarette, or for some money, is the same as making sexual comments to a woman.

No it's not sexual assault but there is clearly something threatening about it. If you don't think so, you are not a woman, or maybe you don't have a sister, or a wife, or a gf, or a daughter.

The point is that the comments are not meant to be sincere compliments. They are harrassment. And there is an unspoken threat in making comments like this to a complete stranger on the street. The underlying message is "I'd like to f*** you". Maybe as a man, you think that would be a great thing to hear 20 times a day from disgusting strangers on the street, but I can assure you most women don't.

Women getting assaulted or chased because some cat calling guy didn't like their response or lack of response is not uncommon.

Being repeatedly treated as a sexual object all day doesn't seem like fun.

Most people in the thread could use a bit more empathy. Seems like a lot of women connect with the message of that video. If you can't understand that then it might be time to reconsider how you are relating to women.
