Iv been watching a few tables, raise folding 8bb stacks seems standard.

How have these players got so far? Honestly unless your a crusher, MTTs suck hard.

Well to figure out the answer

what kind of hands would he triple barrel but call a river raise with?

Will he call QQ/KK/AA on the river if you raise?

Will he call AJ JK JQ on the river if you raise?

The question is what worse hands are calling if you raise (turn or river)

if the answer is none you need to be bluffing more in these spots, but trips is not actually a hand we want to bluff with

It's always a question of percieved range vs actual range

What kind of hands would a villain raise the river with after getting triple barreled?

What kind of hands would a villain raise the turn with after getting double barreled?

Esp. on this board

You can analyze the rest, like board texture and your usual habits on these textures (maybe you like to raise your 2pair+ on wet boards and therefore villain will always triple barrel any two because you would raise the flop with anything decent) and he'll fold anything but the nuts on the turn/river because he knows you raise sets on the flop therefore if you raise turn/river you have hit the turn/river

the term capped range comes from this as most people raise this flop with sets+ so they can't have anything decent if they call the flop but raise a blank turn (as they either hit the blank turn or have nothing decent because they raise flop on that board with 2pair+)

rasiy daisy!

lot of **** missed so we could easily be bluffing

edit: re sizing if i'm playing a reg i'd choose a size i'd go for a bluff with (fairly big), if it's a rec player i'd go a smaller milky sizing to make sure i get a call from worse

Yeah it's the student poker championship, only £100 buy in so should be pretty hilarious and if I win I surely am famous enough to get an undertitle right?

It's pretty close but you can fold AK when he bets that size at 25nl imo, think betting small on the river could be good too.

not having to worry about table selection, more hands per hour, less tables to concentrate on, being able to sit out instantly without waiting for bb
