used to play 5nl graduated to 10nl but after a few shots dropped back to 5nl and stuck.
I don't get it. I've taken loads of advice from this thread and the micro nl-pl forums and applying it to my game but still losing at 5nl. anyone at ssnl used to experience this?
when i started playing cash (at 25nl) i basically watched a load of vids from DC (mainly from baluga because i thought he was the best at teaching stuff) posted hands in uNL
had a heater at 25nl, moved upto 50nl. stupidly tried to 9 table it straight away, moved back down, then recovered losses at 25nl, moved back up and stayed.
got talking to better players about hh and stuff
then got fortunate enough to get staked and not looked back since
Also I made a 30 min 25nl rush video with commentary but something ****ed up at the end when I tried to save it. Soso gay because I won 5 BI's and a 250bb pot with Ahi
Will try and make another one to post in here another day though, realised it is really hard to articulate my thought processes in game though so it's probably not the best anyway, makes me admire people who make decent videos way more.
When you do, please just play as you see optimal for 25NL.
So often I see people request 'to get into a lot of spots' which makes the video maker 3bet ******ed hands or raise dumb hands and too loosely, ending up situations we micro-noobs should'nt find ourselves in to begin with

yeh i thought this is incredibly ******ed when video makers do this. Dont understand why, usually they dont even have enough time to explain the actual spot they got themselves.
alright thanks guys. I'll drop back to 2nl with 60BI and try and beat it, before I move back up to 5nl again. gonna spam the micro nl forum with loads of hands.
Dill, I'm never on skype but if u wanna pm me hh's or questions that's fine. If u wanna pm me I'll give u my email address aswell as I'm never too far away from that, and if i can help i will
If u can afford it, get a DC sub. I've been watching vids for a month now and it really does open ur mind
Edit: same goes for anyone if they want. I'm no genius but will help where i can

Ha at the start of the video I literally said 'I'm going to play as if I was a meh 25nl reg, EG i'm not going to open wider bvb because I think I can outplay them postflop etc'
So annoyed it f'ed up though, it is effort to make another one.

I find that mostly, when people shove for 2 or more x pot, with 4 str or flush ont he board, its OK to fold.
Pretty decent sesh. Was down 5 BI at one point, clawed it all back. Glad that despite taking a lot of beats earlier on fh over fh set over set etc, I didnt lose my head, just carried on grinding away steadily and the rewards came.
