I was in the same boat my friend. If you didn't sign up to FTP through an affiliate you can just go to rakebackpros.com and sign up. You'll get a question during the signup asking if you signed up through an affiliate. Just answer no. I got rakeback within a week. Good luck.

Thanks alot!

You get paid once a week, and yes it free to sign up. As long as you didn't sign up to full tilt through an affiliate you are good to go. Head over to the website and sign up. Everything is clearly spelled our there.

just click on "create new account" on the home page.

Answer NO to this question:
"Did you use the referral code RAKEBACKPROS when you created your Full Tilt Poker account?:"

Make sure you didn't sign up through an affiliate or all this is moot

You can't get the rakeback your paid when you did not have an affiliate. I would also suggest to go to rakebackpros.com. I signed up was approved in a couple of days. From then on I have been receiving rakeback on a weekly basis and it really adds up!

I have been a Fulltilt member for 3 or 4 years. I didn't know about rakeback when I opened my account. Just this week, I signed up at Rakebackpros and then sent them an email asking them to review my account to see if it qualified for rakeback. Within just a couple hours I was hooked up and am now earning rakeback. And yes, it's free.

Sweet cheers, I dont understand how the site works though! Why would they bother getting you rackeback when they're getting no return from it? :S

Just one caveat to OP: I've seen this question asked dozens of times and the answer, invariably, is "go to RakeBackPros.com, make an account and wait." As mentioned, if you signed up through an affiliate, you're screwed.

If you did not sign up through an affiliate, you should be able to get rakeback but here's where my caveat comes in -- I've seen people get rakeback through RBP in anywhere from 2 days to 3 months. Some people suggest sending a "I' not playing on FT until I get rakeback" and then they get it like 2 days later and believe that their ultimatum had something to do with it but I've seen just as many people send that same email and not get it for quite some time.

This leads me to believe that RBP/FT simply has a pool of eligible candidates that get sucked into the system every x days. Maybe that number is 90. So if you sign up four days before that date, boom, you have rakeback in 4 days. If you sign up four days after that date, you've got a wait. And my experience tells me that your letter means absolutely nothing.

Having said all that, I'm assuming that you're now aware of how critical rakeback is to your bankroll. If not, while I don't have PT3 in front of me right this second, I think I wind up recovering about one buy-in every 4k hands or so. So not having rb is literally burning money.

[edit: confirmed, almost precisely 1 buy-in recovered every 4k hands]

So if you don't have rakeback and really don't want to play until you do, consider signing up at Stars or whatever and play there until you're in at RBP.

Sweet thanks alot, I dont understand how the site (RaleBackPro) works though!
Why would they go to the bother of getting you rackeback from full tilt when they're getting no return from at all from it?

And yeah i realised how important rakeback is now thankfully!!

Like they say "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth". It doesn't matter "how" or "why", just how much am I getting back.

And for the last time rakebackpros is SAFE.

I have no idea if this is true or not, but I always assumed that rakeback providers are getting something for being an affiliate of whatever poker site they get you to sign up on.

The poker site gets a new player, who will pay rake, tourney fees, etc. thus making money for the poker site. The affiliate gets a kickback from all this revenue generated (I'm assuming) - they are passing some of it back to the player.

This is true in the usual case of affiliates where the affiliate advertises and channels players to FT. But in the case of someone already having joined Full Tilt then signing up through RBP, RBP has provided nothing to Full Tilt that Full Tilt didn't already have.

I suspect it's just a matter of people, once they've found out about rakeback, saying "if I can't get it, I'll go elsewhere" and apparently FT has made a calculation that giving rakeback to players who even know what it is costs less than losing those players entirely.

There's also the factor of poker players talking -- if one guy finds out about it and leaves, how many other people is he going to rile up and also convince to head to greener pastures?

It worked for me. I hadn't played on FT for over 2 years simply because of no rakeback. I'm playing there now

I had no problems whatsoever getting rake back with RakeBackPros after already having signed up at FTP. I did not use an affiliate though, just downloaded straight from FTP's web site. My account was approved for rake back less than 24 hours after I contacted them. I've been averaging about $17 a day just from Pros. FTP is only place I will ever play from now on.

Yes it is completely free. I was on full tilt for 4+ years before I found out about rakebackpros. I like you was wasting tons of money not getting rakeback. I signed up and after a few days of approval I have been receiving rakeback now!! I can't believe I waited as long as I did to sign up! Honestly it really does add up.
