If you play live 1/2 no limit cash and you want to have decent win rate, let say 8bb in hour. Lets assume it is 9 handed table. How many good players (players play better then you or as good as you) is OK to have. In other words, what number good players is enough to make your play at this table none profitable or not worth your time?

Actually it is just a home game so the players are much the same.

The number of good players matters less than your position on the good players and the fish. If you have position on one fish and and no tough aggressive player has position on you, everyone else could be Phil Ivey and you'd still come out ahead.

Wait for hands and get paid.

These two statements are incongruous I think. 'Being treated like a nit' implies they avoid getting into pots with you because you have it but 'too aggressive to bluff' implies they just run over you when you try to bluff.

Call me an idiot, but are there bots at iPoker's speed poker at even the 5NL stakes? I've seen a few players very regularly, and everytime I start my session I always meet them, and I don't play on a fixed schedule. It's always the same; you get aggressive with them (4 bet etc) and they always fold. I've seen the post from NVG about bots at the 20NL stakes but 5NL? I've got some names if you want to look them up.

edit: not asking anyone to ban them but if they keep 3 bet bluffing me IP and never call that's pretty profitable

Yes, but it's still not a great indicator of running well/poorly.

This might be a stupid question, but how do I post pictures on here? Like under spoiler? I use image shack and I copied both the URL and direct link and none of them work under insert image?

To post a picture on 2+2, you must first upload your photo to one of the photo sharing websites. ( A list of sharing sites can be found at this link: List of photo sharing websites )

The ability to upload a picture to 2+2 directly from your computer is not an option.

Once you have uploaded to one of the sharing sites, find the IMG code of your file and use that to post on 2+2.

Either start a thread or reply to a post, then click the and copy/paste the IMG.

Easy Peasy

You're probably bad at bluffing. It's a skill, there's more to it than just betting. Decent players can spot when a line you take makes no sense and snap you off lightly.

At any rate don't worry too much about it, you don't even need to bluff to win at LLSNL. You should learn how to bluff well because it does help your winrate a ton but don't feel obligated to bluff just for the sake of balance or whatever, that is unnecessary and probably very -EV

Virtually always use the mobile android 2+2 app which has the "participated" feature. Where or how do I access this feature when I use the actual website? I do not want to subscribe to so many threads, thx.

I'm not familiar with that app but might it be "Find all posts by user" in your profile, under Statistics?

Test test

Spoiler:
The spoiler and the image test worked correctly. When I test something on 2+2, I usually pick a slow traffic forum like 2+2 Bonus Program and do the test. THEN I delete the test since it was not appropriate for the thread I posted in. The image you posted fits that description as well so I have deleted it for you.

I know when someone posts xx/yy/zz stats like 20/15/2, and I can find VPIP and PFR, but the number 2 (zz) doesn't show up on any stats of mine. I know it is aggresion but my number are like 30 or 0.2, not 1-5.

I think what you have is AFq, and zz refers to AF.

Okay, dumb question of my own - I want to create a report in PT3 with all the hands in which a particular player who is not me went to showdown, and be able to play back all the hands in the report. How do I do this?

zz is Aggression Factor which is ((Times Bet)+(Times Raised))/(Times Called). It should be between 0-4, below 1 meaning it is a very passive player who calls more often than he bets or raises, above 4 meaning you probably don't have enough hands to get an accurate reading (Or villain is just a super maniac)

You're probably confusing Aggression Factor and Aggression Frequency, btw.

How many orbit(s) should a relatively decent player get a good 'read' on his opponents at the table? Does getting a good read mean that he must see the opponent's cards or can good players get a good read even w/o seeing their cards?
