cEV is chip expected value. Which is different than dollar expected value.
It relates mostly to Sitn Go's which I used to play a lot of but haven't for years now. 6 max cash is my game right now.
I remember reading Colin Moshman Sitn Go Strategy he explained it really well in that book.
So all I really remember is cEV (+ or-) is the expectation of how many chips you gain to win or lose.
While $EV is the expectation of how much loot you gain to win or lose.
When playing a stt you may have 1200 chips but there is a calculation to figure out what your chip stack is worth in actual $, depending on buy-in. Also the less chips you have the more they are worth..... ect. ect. Like I said haven't played stt for years I'm sure someone can hop on this intro to explain further. Or search for chip expected value and you'll get hits.
