I find it hard to believe a company of this size can't put money into development and give users a pleasant experience to play. At the very least a redesign seems necessary if only to join the rest of the web in a new era.
+1

3 or 4 years ago the 888 network was pretty good but now it's shiza.

also how come support ask for the first two letters of your password during live chat. This is awful awful security.
Im definitely going to ask about the password issue. As far as the software I know they have some updates in the pipeline but what I'll do is compile a list of suggestions like yours and give them to the management team.

1. The number of accounts you are allowed on the 888 network is not limited

2. The store is opening first half of 2010

3. Omaha hands will be supported in version 5.7 to be released within the next 3 months

4. Bonus abuse - as long as the player is not carrying out any fraudulent activity, he is not limited from opening several accounts across the network

I have played on the 888 network for 5 years now and they have got better and seem to be making some sort of effort.

But you should pass on that having things like 'leader boards' and 'online shop' coming soon on the website is all well and good. But when they don't appear after 12+ months it gives the network an air of unprofessionalism.

Oh and their complete lack on sng traffic is due to the rakeback issue. You cant grind sngs without getting decent rb anymore.

the only reason why i dont play there is the high rake at HUsngs. 10$ + 50cents for turbos is ridilicious high compared to Stars

Hi!

I hope you will be faster than support on Lucky Ace. The thing is, my acc. is disabled, without any mail, no notice of whatsoever!
I haven't done nothing illegal, nothing against the rules. Something was wrong when i tried to deposit, firstly using my visa, but my bank didn't approve of the site and didn't let me pay, then i tried my mastercard, which, at first, also didn't go through. I received a phone call from my card security center, if i was trying to use my card on lucky ace, when i confirmed, that it was me that is trying to deposit, they then let me deposit with my mastercard.
...so that would maybe be the only reason (and ridiculous one) why they'd disable my acc. but cmon, at least they should notify me why they disabled it!!!

Allowing multiple accounts does NOT seem like a good plan.

Also, may I ask if you are paid by the site and/or receive higher than the "highest tier" of rakeback? It doesn't necessarily invalidate anything, but transparency is always good, imo.

I am paid by the site for this role only, and I am not employed by the site internally. I do not receive rakeback, commission or any type of referral money or bonuses from LuckyAcePoker.

I've been in contact with the management team and have some answers regarding the issues that have been raised so far.

The bonus issue

LuckyAcePoker.com and LuckyAceCasino.com were launched in January 2007, and immediately, as is the case in many new gaming platforms, a large amount of players joined in order to take advantage of a new room and a new bonus opportunity. The vast majority of these players deposited in LuckyAceCasino.com, and during this initial period where a high amount of players joined, some errors and mishandling of accounts did occur which saw some accounts locked inadvertently.

However, within a few days, all issues were fully addressed and corrected, and most importantly, no funds were wrongly confiscated, and all relevant funds were returned as needed. The lingering sentiment which remains, primarily related to the casino side and not the poker side, stems solely from that initial period of time which is now over two years old.

The first two weeks after the launch of the platform were challenging and the team admits that it could have handled things more professionally - but it is important to understand that since that initial 2-week period the platform has run incredibly smoothly, receiving full eCogra certification and working as per the high standards of the Cassava Operations Team.

Customer service

Firstly it is important to address the issue of providing the first two letters of the players password. This is very similar to giving the ‘last four digits’ of your credit card, and it is crucial to know that the customer service rep does NOT have direct access to the full password, but only these first two letters, just as the operator does not have full access to your credit card number when viewing the last four digits. Cassava in general is well known for being a leader in both Responsible Gaming, Security and for its top-of-the-line operations team – and this should serve as reassurance for all players.

There are always things to improve in terms of Customer Service, which is why this thread exists. If you think that the customer service isn’t good enough on the network, explain why in this thread. The whole reason for this initiative (and this thread) is that LuckyAcePoker has recognized the need to do more for its users, so improving customer service is at the top of the list.

If you have more to add to this or want to ask anything at all, go ahead, I'm listening.

Hi Mooch,

The deposit bonus is 100% up to $400. I dont have a clearance rate for you but it seems to be around average to clear at small stakes, if you need more info I can dig this up.

The reload bonuses vary, they can be anything up to $200 and again the clearance rates seem to be around average. The reload bonuses are offered via email.

Thanks

Cheers, luckyama. Any idea how LAP decide who to send the emails out to - losing players, inactive players etc. Or is it standard for everyone?

I am looking for a site that has guarantee tournaments but without the 5000 ppl fields like Stars/FTP. I am not trying to get lucky for 8 hours I am trying to use my skill learned from 2+2 and apply it in situations. It seems like these tournaments on stars and FTP are stupid donkfests that can only be FTd by Red Pros/PS Pros or Chris Moorman. Just my 2 cents.

Can LAP provide me an equal opportunity or I am still going to be digging my way through 5000 player fields? I dont mind the thinner fields IMO.

Edit: Does this site support MAC? Also I am looking to grind a roll to spread onto a site like stars or FTP. I think you need like 20-30k to actually play on stars otherwise you are wasting your time.

The following is only my personal experience as a player, so take it for what it is.

My experience of the tourney traffic on LuckyAcePoker is that it is thin. Because of this the GTDs they offer are not as large as the other sites, but they have do have a weekly 50k GTD. The fields are really soft and though I cant verify this myself I am sure that there is often an overlay. There isnt that much running at any one time but the GTDs are worth scheduling some time for.

Just had a check google search of the software and I found what I assume are the default graphics:

http://www.code-et-bonus.com/poker/e...oker_table.JPG

Do you know if there are any free mods available or indeed what built in backgrounds there are apart from the defaults?

Those are the default full ring graphics. You can display the table in other formats, turn the avatars on and off etc. The best format is probably this one:

There is a 3rd party app which can mod the tables for you which I read about in this thread:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/45...odding-591248/

I have no idea about it because I have never used it so I cant recommend it, but its there if you want to give it a try.
