You get that for up to 4 years.

I have no idea what i'd get here in England as I work, but i'm betting its not great.

since I was a student I hadn't worked before being unemployed so I got the lowest rate which is about €1500/month.

It's only for 2 years though, new legislation went through this June.

I am quite fond of warm beer. I get lots of funny looks when I refuse the chilled stuff and take a warm one out of the case instead.

I also get a lot of cracks about drinking "fish beer" all the time (Bass Pale Ale, my fav). I'd rather drink a fish for real than the natty / keystone / pbr crap that all of my friends drink in mass quantities.

In other news....Halp me BQ! I've been unemployed for 18 months now so there's quite a large gap on my CV, which I'm finding difficult to explain to potential employers now I'm looking for work again. I've been told to make up random jobs with family etc but I'm the worst liar ever so pretty sure that wouldn't work. If it makes any difference, during that time I havn't been claiming any benefits.

Leo, you went travelling, either to multiple places or to keep an easy story to one place abroad, that had sunshine and beach.

You worked in a handful of bars and restaurants, and came back to England to get a proper job and a career once it was out of your system.

Worked for me. But I actually did that too

Oh and when employers ask you questions about the skills you have, being a team player or what responsibilities you had it's pretty easy to make them up. Particularly if you have ever done any of these jobs.

Explains the gap, and obv no references will be obtained.

And if you are young enough, late teens early twenties it is very plausible.

Definitely go with the travelling thing...or that you tried to start your own business or somethin. I'm just now looking for a more steady job and have a similar issue as I've been working construction w my dad and giving music lessons for the past 2 years without bbeing "employed" so my resume looks kind of funny

Beat: Only played one hour of poker at Borgata. Played 3 hands. Saw mostly 104,K3o, 72, 83 type hands. Guy sitting next to me was super solid and trying to steal my girlfriend most of the time I played.

Brag: One of those three hand was KK in a 4 way pot where I raise pre in the SB and flop kings full and a guy rivers an underfull for an easy river double up.

Variance: Spent most of my day at casino in eating drinking or ****ing. Whole night came out broke evenish in money but way ahead in good times.
