Are there any ways to reduce how resource-intensive Stars is? Have some sympathy on those of us with poor computers.

at the mobile app (android), when you type the pin code the numbers don't turn into asterisks (as they should).
i believe it was like that at the previous versions of the app but not at the latest.

Client update 7.9830 breaks the xthemes.ini link to @pokerstars.com base themes so if your custom theme uses a custom gx.ini file then you're SOL for the time being.

When I find the correct redirect for xThemes I'll post the working solution.

i opened 1 tourney table of 150 fpp to test its almost unplayable, so glad i didnt open more like the million id life tilt, i just cannot do my actions properly due to the massive lag.

After contacting Pokerstars support 8 weeks ago all they said was they were working on the solution for this.

What does support exactly mean with a Wireless connection? Does it mean everyone of these: WLAN with 1 GBit/s wired connection, 4G, HSDPA, 3G, EDGE, GPRS, or just some subset of these? If some subset, what is the exact subset meant by this?

New Android Menu for chosing games (tried out only SNG so far) is horrible - and actually you can't chose 1$, it goes from 0.5$ to 1.5$ directly. Also 2$ 90man non turbo is missing as well..

The mobile version of Quick Seat, like that of the desktop client, does not show all games – this is by design and intended for new users who can be overwhelmed by too many choices. That said, the team is discussing whether to add the $1 SNGs to Quick Seat.

You’re probably aware of the Main Lobby for the mobile app, but just in case: it is accessed by the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. The lobby has a broad set of filters that will show many more games.

That is correct – there is no way to enable hand strength for real money games. This has been a long-standing policy based on the notion that for play at live tables you have to be able to recognize your hand strength without an aid. From time to time the team revisits this idea, but at the moment there are no plans to change it.

Thanks for reporting this – it only affects Android and should be corrected in a few days with new updates.

Anyone else experience 'button lag'? I mean - when you click any button (check/raise/register or whatever) it sometimes work, sometimes not, and sometimes it works after a second or two. It leads to ****load of misclicks - pretty annoying.

The same when you try to close client - when I click X it never closes client immediately. I ALWAYS need to click it twice or three times at least.

Next thing - I have confirmation of a registration pop up turned on but it sometimes appear, sometimes I can register without it anyway.

And one last thing. After maximizing main lobby window I see black screen for a second or two - of course 100% of the time. All those things make this client look like unfinished product. Pretty surprised cause PS clients before PS7 worked almost always flawless.

I think 1$ 180 are a viable part of recreationals who want to play for a sum of money and the almost 50$ uptop is a good start.


Also I am overwhelmed by the huge numbers of tournaments running because I still can't filter out games above 3$ for example when using the 0-20$ setting.

Also you still need to make 3 rows of text instead of 2 on the table to be able to read what satellite you are actually playing.

It's beginning to annoy me that I have to include "-women" in every filter parameter I create. How about a checkbox?

The button lag thing was one of the main issues I had with Stars 7 on Mac. Pretty annoying. Can't say much about it now since I'm on Stars 6 since the workaround to downgrade was made available.

An option to turn off the sounds at the start of spin and gos. Extremely loud and obnoxious, makes watching a movie or listening to music with headphones a pain in the ass.
