why dont stars have micro plo HU tables, is there some obvious reason im being to dumb to see?
i've emailed them but got no answer

also when railing the nosebleeds (isildur1) i have always thought that if two players start a match on a 6 max table and want to keep it HU, to stop others sitting and breaking it up they could have a button that when both hit it the table converts to a HU table or the other seats are blocked for the duration of play.

There are no HU tables above 50/100 so it's common practice that if 2 players are playing heads up at a table and ask it to stay that way that people will let them play. Anything below that if you want to play HU then you should play at a HU table.

Sorry if this has been asked before or if it is the wrong forum/topic, but is there any news regarding zoom mtt' s?

I don't like turbo tournaments and have not enough time to grind the non turbo tournaments, so this would be the perfect solution to play 30bb+ tournament poker with bigger fields without it taking up my whole day.

Zoom cash has been up for almost 3 months now, I do not really understand why it has not been released yet. Pretty sure people will play it, I know I will.

Options/Table Display Options/[x] Show Player Actions
Please create this option already. It's been demanded quite a few times ITT.

Also, [Popup table whenever user action is required] does not seem to work properly when the active SNG table busts and auto-closes; I always have to activate the topmost of the remaining tables by mouseclick (or hotkey) and then find the most urgent table by another hotkey.

curious as to how you think giving every player the option to snap fold junk cards and be moved to a new table every single hand would make a tournament finish quicker

Get rid of chat moderators and keep the savings to stop future rake increases/vip club rewards being lowered.

I only play Zoom cash games but it seems clear that even with the same blind structure, The fast fold would mean more hands played per hour, which would mean more allins risking busting out, and faster end to the tournament.

The ability to re-order the columns in the lobby would be nice, I think it's much more intuitive to have the Buyin column before the Name column rather than after the Game column. This is referring to the new beta "alternative" lobby settings btw.

please make it "Time/Date" not "Date/Time" in the time field, when the lobby is small all you can see is todays pointless which is obv pointless

I agree that people fold more junk hands so the average bustout per hand is a lot lower than regular tournaments, because people play much more nitty. But the hands played per hour are that much more it still means people will bust faster than regular tournaments.

This might not be the case in practice. But if I compare it with zoom cash, my bb/100 is lower, but my hourly is much higher because I play that many more hands per hour.

Solution is obviously to play more tables, but when I try to take my time to play a lot of tournaments a day and I bust out a couple and only have like 2 or 3 tournaments left, I really don' t feel like playing those anymore and starting new ones is not a solution because it would take too long if I finish deep. Zoom tournaments makes it much easier to start and end sessions.

Atleast that is what I think, also on my experience with rush poker tournaments. But we will see, hopefully very soon.

eh, what is this message i just got across all tables i was playing? unfortunately i panicked when taking the screen shot so i only got part of the message, on one of the tables.
my french is awful but with common sense i'm pretty good... turmellator@hotmail.ca doesn't seem like an official pokerstars email. also it seems to me that the instructions are how to change my e-mail address.
is this some lame phishing attempt or what?

Regarding your e-mail, we just set up your account so you can make updating your e-mail and use "turmellator@hotmail.ca" on behalf "turmellator". To do this, please start the PokerStars software and, from the main lobby, select:

"Account" -> "Edit Account" -> "Change e-mail address ..."

Please indicate your new e-mail address then click "OK".

yeah this is a good reply, sorry if my initial post was a little douchey by the way. I'm just passionately anti-zoom tournaments, there's no way I'll play them as it'll presumably be nigh on impossible to get good volume in with them and I don't use a HUD. But they'll steal players from the regular pools, especially recreational players
