Stars, you should really implement that thing you talked about before that every player gets a number of table limit according to how fast they act, I just depoed some on stars because it's tax free where I live now.. I guess, I only play a few tables and every table there are atleast 2-3 peoepl 24 tabling taking their pretty much 15-20 sec each hand! to make a decision this is ridicilious and should get fixed.

With the switch to WC and not having to worry about getting credit for VPPs when closing tables after folding preflop, can you improve the sit out and close this table next bb by making it

Sit out and close this table next UTG after preflop fold
Sit out and close this table next bb if I see a flop UTG

Please stop considering any "improvements" to software until you fix this lag. Its been getting worse and worse and has gone on way too long. You need to have every technical person working for you trying to figure out why its happening and stop it. It is so tilting to get bad beats after waiting 15 seconds for each street to be dealt.

email support and let them know. hopefully if enough ppl do it, the players in question will get their limits reduced

Cross posting:
As we are nearing ZOOM launch, we wanted to get feedback from players who have tried the different ZOOM animation settings on TestPokerStars as to which one they prefer from the three options -- Fade, Slide, or Flip.

Thanks!

fix lag > all

I have to agree with some posters, the lag has made it close to impossible to play at all last weeks - fix it NOW.

my connection hasn't lagged at all, if it lagged for all I would expect this thread to be 100:1 posts concerning LAG vs any other business.

I wholeheartedly agree that LAG issues fubar client completely and are of a top priority; however, one must consider that there may be externalities (internet infrastructure related out of the hands of the stars IT team) that may be in play here.

Just my 2¢ and no derailment intended. besos.

Why does it matter just play across different currencies. Some people prefer playing in their own currency, plus you don't have to pay conversion fees. Anyway there's a chance the euro will collapse, so I would rather have dollar and pound games available, than dollar and euro.

+1

I don't think different currencies split the player pool the same way splitting game structures does. I play USD and Euro at the same "stake" simultaneously although the values are different while keeping my entire bankroll in Canadian dollars and using the auto-convert options. I don't think people are really going to say "I'm only playing E100 and not 100 USD," the same way they'd say "I'm only playing CAP and not 40-100."

I like the absence of any animation and zero-latency of all actions.
(Animation for recreational players)

If it was "internet problems" wouldn't it affect other programs? I've been chatting on skype and browsing the internet with no problems whilst Pokerstars has lagged before, and my connection has been completely stable recently.

The hotkey feature, there's 2 bugs for me

1 - the active window doesn't change for me unless I click on a new one with the mouse. In my multi-table options the "popup table whenever user action is required" is checked. So I would expect the new table that pops to be the active one

2- the activate next or previous table hotkeys doesn't work at all for me
